  1. Ah, I see. Cool. Thanks. I must have SF Minimates. If we could complete the SFII cast somehow.
  2. So wait...which sets are TRU exclusive versus the ones I can get at specialty stores?
  3. Man, I'm officially burned out on this line. Way too little space to keep them around right now with things. I'm thinking of selling it all in one go, but I have a TON of figures. Everyone from waves 1 through 19, with a few wave 20...A bunch of the DC Superheroes that came from before the DCUC...every SDCC exclusive with the exclusive items (Gleek, Plastic Man suitcase) except Swamp Thing. And the complete first wave of Green Lantern Classics and some of the second...
  4. Oh, f*ck you, Marvel. This is such bull. Storm hates X-force, Psylocke was preparing to leave, and Puck and Spiral are so irrelevant. I don't have any idea what they think they're doing with all of this. Marvel has a hat that they dump all the X-Men names into and then pulls out whomever and they're on a new team. Don't deny it. It's the only sensable idea.
  5. I am just anxious to have Colossus from this wave. I'll be buying two actually. One for the Outback X-Men and one to complete my Blue/Gold teams of 90s X-Men since he comes with switchable torsos.
  6. I'm honestly surprised we haven't seen Tigra yet in Minimate form, Then again, I'm surprised Falcon still hasn't been made either. They could certainly reuse a lot from the DC Minimate Cheetah for Tigra.
  7. So... 'The Nostalgia Critic Movie'? Given that's basically what's become of the AVGN for the most part. Honestly, I got sick of the show a long time ago like most things on TGWTG. Especially not interested after hearing of all the drama that's been going on there for a while. Only one I still watch is the Brad Jones for the Cinema Snob, and even he's now made a movie around that character recently.
  8. Well, the Iceman we got way back in one of the earlier waves with Firestar is technically 90's Iceman, at least if you ask me, he has that very 'Jim Lee' look to him. Now if we got a De-Iced Iceman here maybe to go with it...
  9. He's sold out? I ordered a set this morning though. O_o
  10. I'm just wondering if stores like Luke's are going to get anymore of the first set in here or am I forced to pay scalper prices on evilBay to get it.
  11. Just making Resident Evil Minimates altogether would be awesome. Wave 1: Resident Evil 1 Chris Redfield/Cerberus (zombie dog) Jill Valentine/Web Spinner Barry Burton/Zombie Rebecca Chambers/Zombie (variant) TRU exclusives: Albert Wesker/Tyrant Hunter/Chimera Wave 2: Resident Evil 2 Leon Kennedy/Licker Claire Redfield/Giant Moth Ada Wong/Zombie Annette Birkin/Zombie (variant) TRU exclusives: Sherry Birkin/William Birkin G-2 William Birkin G-3 (can change into G-4)/Ivy Plant Wave 3: Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Jill Valentine/Nemesis Carlos Oliveria/Hunter (Beta) Nicholai Zinoviev/Zombie Mikhail Victor/Zombie (variant) TRU exclusives: Brad Vickers/Zombie Brad Brain Sucker/Drain Deimos And so on....
  12. Basically Donatello's bo staff has a pop out blade and Michelangelo's nunchuks have hidden blades that pop out and allow him to covert the weapon into the chain...sickle thing. (Forgot what it's called) Honestly, I've seen custom LEGO TMNT figures on ebay, so I don't expect too much detail on the mini-figures. The Mega Blok ones had sculpted heads and torsos. Kind of like how they do the HALO stuff nowadays.
  13. Just saw this news on Toyark and felt like posting it here. It'll mark the second time Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be in a building block form with the first being Mega Blok back around 2003 or so... http://www.toyark.com/news/lego-toy-news-12/lego-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-6400/
  14. So...when are these going to show up online again? All I see is pre-orders for this set and I'd like to get it mainly for the Emma Frost and Hope Summers.
  15. So I've really getting into the All-Ages Power Pack comic Marvel and it's been really a fun read with all the various crossovers they have and the excellent artwork done by Gurihiru and thinking to myself how cool it would be to see the team in Minimate form. I know they have a history in the regular Marvel Universe comics as well and that they're occasionally popping up individually here and there still... I guess though my thoughts on the minimate idea is though...how would they do the characters in minimate form? They're kids basically and I dunno... Seeing for the upcoming remaining Thundercats minimates sets with Wilykit and Wilykay and how they are on the normal sized minimate bodies it looks a bit...odd to me. Still would be cool to see something like Power Pack in Marvel Minimates...and given Alpha Flight is getting love now I'd guess anything is possible.
  16. Isn't Impossible Man really short? It would look awkward to me if a smaller character was the same size as the rest of the cast for some reason. Could they do something like what they did for Snarf in the Thundercats minimates maybe?
  17. Any plans to so a Gold Team version once we get the upcoming new Colossus?
  18. Ugh. Man is the quality control group totally asleep with this final wave? I got my two TRU sets in the mail today and my MODOK's face not only badly painted, but his face tampo is WAY too far to the left. My Thor's face tampo is also mucked up sadly. I'm debating returning them both, but I wonder if I can just do that with my local store instead of paying S&H to send them back... If so, I may wait and see if the store gets the wave in person and simply return these bad ones once I find a good pair.
  19. Did they cancel the other items? Often TRU will split shipments. It doesn't look like it, but they haven't shipped them either.
  20. WTH? I ordered both the Thor and MODOK sets along with some DVDs off the TRU website and they're just sending the DVD movies according to the e-mail I got today. Not cool, TRU...
  21. Got these from Luke's along with the Alpha Flight set. This...this is how come minimates continue to kick butt. So much stuff included, so many details... Snarf is amazingly cool too with his sculpted details to suggest he still belongs in the minimates line. My Mumm-Ra has a bit of paint run off on the back of his cape and a bit on his face, but nothing major. Of course, after reading about Lion-O's belt symbol, I'm definitely using kiddie gloves on him until I get some of the stuff I'm reading others are putting on it.
  22. Got these from Luke's as well yesterday. To actually have Alpha Flight in ANY figure form right now is just amazing. I can't wait to get the other box set. Minimates continues to blow the other Marvel toylines right out of the water with their selections of characters.
  23. I would say either X-Factor: or Frosted Both are the right color. Frosted is a variant so that might be harder to find. But X-factor has X uniform lines on his chest, so that may be a dealbreaker. I have the unfrosted, blue-tinted version of that Iceman myself as my definitive one simply because he also has an X buckle on him that occasionally popped up on him in the 90s. Both the Frosted and Unfrosted versions though are definitely 90s Iceman in look to me...the face just screams Jim Lee... Now I wish they'd make an un-iced 90s Iceman... >_>
  24. Panel over? Huh... Really didn't get much new news outside of the winners of Wave 50 of Marvel Minimates...kind of disappointing.
