  1. Thanks Pop! But I just found her. . .good lord I have a lot of Minimates in storage.
  2. I'm about 95% sure I've got a few of those in my big Minimates box in my attic. Will have to go digging up there in the next day or to to see!
  3. Son of a gun. I checked this thread yesterday afternoon, and must looked just before your post. Let me know if you open up anymore or if someone drops out, Luke! Love this guy.
  4. I've considered getting the 400% Beatles once upon a time. I have the 100% versions and really dig them.
  5. I don't even have time during the day to attempt raids, so I can't get past stage 1!
  6. That Big Daddy looks great. I had their Jon Snow figure, and it was good in many ways, but the likeness and paintwork left something to be desired. Ghost had a pretty terrible sculpt. And his shoes were the size of Frankenstein! But the tailoring was pretty well done. I also have the Halloween 6 Myers. It doesn't look too much like the screen version, but again, the jumpsuit is pretty well done, and it's about 50 times better than the SSC version from years ago. One thing I've been interested in from them (and prior to that, 3A) is the 1/12th scale, clothed figures. They seem to be able to put out very high quality figures in this regard, which companies like Mezco really struggle with, despite charging collectors exorbitant prices. One of my fantasies is that a company can come along and do very high quality, card-accurate ARAH GI Joes in that style. That could be a worthy update to the original figures on par with what the Masterpiece Transformers are to that franchise.
  7. Breaking Bad is easily one of the top 5 shows I've ever seen. But I'm not sure I ever want to watch it again! Intentionally very tough to sit through at times. I had to Google this guy: https://ameblo.jp/okaimonoseikatu/entry-10233435306.html Only in Japan is something like this an elusive, highly desirable figure (well, I guess also in some parts of the UK ).
  8. I responded in an e-mail to Luke about the guys who I think were most important from that era, but it echoes many of you. Stone Cold, Rock, HHH (though I'm not a huge fan of him in retrospect), and Mankind are essential. I would say that second tier guys, but also really important are Chris Jericho, Kane, Kurt Angle, and Big Show, who also came out in that period. And if Luke goes no further than that period, I think Eddie Guerrero would be a terrific addition to his lineup, though he made his mark in the mid-2000s. Owen would be great, though he's probably better as a New Generation guy (Slammy Award Winning version would be my choice!). Vader came in right before the Attitude Era. Would work better as an early '90s WCW guy if Luke were going to handle him, but what an amazing Minimate he could be! Hardys and Edge/Christian are also products of the Wrestlemania 17/18 period. On another note, this morning I was playing WWF Wrestlefest, and to the discussion from yesterday--that game had both Demolition and Legion of Doom! You couldn't pick LOD in the tag team mode, though, as they are the champions you have to challenge.
  9. It might be doable if you could use the X-Men Origins Blob. I know those figures were going for next to nothing at one point. For Yoko you would have to go with comic Blob, at least! Bam Bam Bigalow and Vader would be the coolest looking super fat guy wrestling figures, I think. With Akeem, the African Dream and Abdullah the Butcher close behind.
  10. Since Kubricks are relatively unpopular now, at least in the western world, I know some real deals could be found on eBay from time to time. I recall BHM getting some doozies every now and again, with lots of maybe 10-20 figures for pocket change. But those super rare Star Wars chases? The popularity of the license and rarity of the figures might make it hard to find a reasonable deal. If anyone can find it, though, I know it's Rob!
  11. Yeah, he is one of the key Star Wars figures that eluded me from the Kubrick line. On a related note, I saw these appear on Sideshow's site recently: https://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectibles/dc-comics-bearbrick-batman-justice-league-version-400-medicom-toy-903948/ I don't recall ever seeing Kubs or Be@rs being sold on SSC.
  12. I'm not ThreeZero's biggest fan, but do appreciate their choice of licenses. I've got Leatherface on pre-order. Extremely tempted by Pinhead, but my wife would toss it in the trash if she ever saw it!
  13. Hi all. I'm a Pokemon Go player, though my very limited hours make it hard for me to do raids and whatnot, which is a challenge for trying to catch em all! My code is: 1506 9169 2307 I'll go ahead and add you guys to my list. I go running the Pokemon on, so I've already hatched every available Alola type Pokemon multiple times. So, I just use the gifts for the stardust. But I work at a university with about 5,000 Pokestops, and live down the road from a public park. So I'm never in short supply of gifts to divvy out!
  14. I believe Luke said this "classic" run would be wrestlers who were around from the '80s through Wrestlemania 8. If so, the Legion of Doom would fit in there, as they were around from '90 until '92 in WWF. But it's true that Demolition were smack dab in the middle of the classic '80s WWF. They had the titles for a really long time in the late '80s. Personally, I didn't know much about LOD's NWA/WCW run as a kid (though I did rent "Starrcade: Night of the Skywalkers," which they featured prominently in, and rented the WCW NES game that had them on the cover) and associated them with WWF. I had the action figures, and vividly remember them in the arcade game.
  15. So the tag teams won't be part of a subscription, Luke? Of course, you know that you can sign me up for any of the classic 'rasslers you've got coming. As for the tag team speculation, my guess would be the LOD and Rockers. Personally, I would most prefer the Hart Foundation (with Hart wearing the shades with mirror finish!) and Bulldogs, as they were my favorite teams and rivalry of the '80s. And the non-wrestler could be Jimmy Hart! But from a visual standpoint you can't beat LOD or the Rockers. Demolition is another good choice, but since they are arguably a Road Warriors knockoff, I'm not sure if Luke would choose them. Love to see how Luke would handle those faces with their tongues out, though! Brain Busters would be a no-brainer if Luke were going with more NWA wrestlers, but they didn't make much of a splash in the WWF. Tully screwed that opportunity up, sadly. Midnight Express and Rock N Roll Express would be the other obvious NWA choices to me. Imagine a Minimate Jim Cornette If you had to choose one non-wrestler from WWF in the '80s, I would go with Heenan. Greatest manager of all time, and one of the wittiest and funniest personalities in the history of the business. But McMahon was pretty ubiquitous. Not only was he a play-by-play man on many shows, but he hosted Tuesday Night Titans! Jesse Ventura would be another great non-wrestler (though technically, he was once a wrestler. . .same goes for Heenan, and later for McMahon). But he wouldn't be my first choice. Matilda is another non-wrestler Good call!
  16. Those are awesome! In terms of Hogan, there are Minimates who have a pointed finger, right? I want to pose Hogan doing the "YOOOOUUUU!" pose. Would also be awesome if we had a shaking hands hand. For the MEGA HANDSHAKE:
  17. I also need this guy. I have a lot of nostalgia for a comic I had with him in it as a kid. I hope I catch the pre-order window!
  18. Gotta display the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man with that.
  19. I visited the one in Toys R Us a few years ago. It was mighty impressive, I must say. Today, I went back to my local Toys R Us after having visited it a few weeks ago. Last time I saw it, things were from 40 to 70% off for the most part. Minimates were still 40% off. Today I went in, in the store was almost totally gutted. There are only a few things left in the front, but most of the stock been gone. There's no way that stuff all sold. So, I suspected it already been liquidated to a retailer like Ross or TJ Maxx. So, I would anticipate seeing some of that stuff up here somewhere in the near future. Including lots of Minimates. There were plenty of Minimates last time I went, and today I just saw a smattering of Nightmare Before Christmas packs left. No way all that stuff sold from the store itself. They were listed as 60% off today.
  20. Knowing the level of Star Trek interest on this forum, I thought some folks might be interested in this. The red suit may stain the neck a bit, but at this price, how can you go wrong? https://qmxonline.com/products/star-trek-tng-picard-1-6-scale-articulated-figure-special Engage and make it so.
  21. I very briefly stopped by the local TRU earlier today, and the collectibles, including Minimates were 40% off (at least that's what the sign said). I didn't have time to really dig through and see what was there, but FYI. Video games were 50% off! It included PS4 games and Switch games.
  22. Ok, thanks for the heads up. I had a pang of fear and anxiety a minute ago, thinking today was the 18th and I might have missed the pre-order!
  23. Bold move going with Knuckleball Schwartz next! Excited about what is to come! The '80s-early '90s WWF is the period of wrestling I'm most nostalgic for. I've been listening to quite a bit of a podcast called "Something to Wrestle With Bruce Prichard," which just started showing on WWE Network as well. Prichard was Brother Love, and was involved in WWF production and talent relations from 1987 through 2008 or so. He tells so many great behind the scenes stories. If anyone is interested in that time period, I highly recommend it. Prichard was largely responsible for both Undertaker and Ted Dibiase coming to WWF to begin with. I'm slightly sad to hear that HBK won't be out until you get around to the New Generation period, because the Rockers would make for fantastic Minimates! Same for the Bulldogs. But understandable. You've gotta make hard choices, with so many great characters to choose from! And honestly, if I had to pick tag teams who would make great Minimates, Demolition or the Road Warriors/Legion of Doom would be higher, even if they weren't quite as entertaining in the ring.
