  1. Also just thought of Space Phantom as a good villain for this wave
  2. Ghost / Stealth Iron Man is looking more and more likely. BAF sounds like Silver Sable. Maybe unlikely, but I'd love to see Valentina from SHIELD as the second female hero. Mockingbird would also be great. Who else fits the "unmade female espionage hero" clue?
  3. I'm doubting myself though -- been off my game, guessing Proteus for Shadow King, Supremor for Quasimodo, Hellcat for Stingray. Think I only got Paladin correct. Technically Fixer's partner Mentallo is ex-SHIELD, not him (IIRC). But I don't think Mentallo was ever in the MOE.
  4. Got my Paladin today! Very well done 'mate! The latest clue has me thinking "Fixer"
  5. Nice! The guess was all Scorpion though -- I had thought "Supreme Intelligence", but later realized his guess also fit the clues. He looks great! Really excited about this one.
  6. Sounds like Supreme Intelligence / Supremor maybe? (FF introduced, didn't have a body, later did) Also a candidate for a figure/standee execution, but personally I'd love to have a 3D giant round head.
  7. Farouk had a full white suit. I'm thinking zombie kingpin, but he's raggedy. Luke, do you know of an easy way to remove a MM tampo without damaging the paint?
  8. My preference, if given the choice, would be the ethereal energy version.
  9. I wonder (if it's Proteus) if that means it will be the animated version, or the glowing pink version? Or even the possessed-dead-human version?
  10. Where are you getting Omega level as a hint? Omega plus 70s equals Proteus.
  11. I'd be into a Clea/Mordo 2-pack. But that may be a pretty deep cut for a standard wave these days. (Non sequitur: Didn't that Strange Tales pack sell pretty well? I vote for V2 with masked Strange, Clea, Mordo and Shuma Gorath)
  12. I think Stealth is possible because the classic Stealth suit has never been re-done.
  13. When Zach called out 3 correct guesses, only the following had been put out there: Male Hero Re-do: Yellow DD, US Agent, Patch, Stealth Iron Man Spider-Man 2099, Blade (modern), Ghost Rider (Ketch), Elektra (black); Jessica Drew 2099 has been done as animated ("If we'd gotten an animated version, I would have said." - Zach); a modern Blade has arguably been done again, Ketch was vetoed by Zach; Elektra is not a dude; Spider-Woman is not a dude US Agent is a long shot? B/c he was an exclusive, not in a numbered series Male MCU Villain: Batroc, Iron Monger, Whiplash, Killmonger, Malekith, Ego, Ghost, Mordo Minn-Erva Minn-Erva is not a dude Ghost is a dude in the comics, would that count...? New Male Hero: Machine Man New Female Hero (x2): Jocasta, Kate Bishop, Hellcat, Mockingbird, Clea New Male Villain: The Hood Female in New Costume: Wasp, Black Widow (grey), Spider-Woman (jacket), Savage She-Hulk I think any three of the following seem really plausible for the 3 we got right: Yellow DD, Batroc, Kate Bishop, The Hood, Black Widow (grey)
  14. Ghost / Stealth IM would be a righteous two-pack... but so would Stealth IM / Blacklash. Hellcat or Mockingbird are pretty street-y (even though street is apparently not the theme anymore). USAgent vs. Batroc? Sure. Sign me up. Masked Doctor Strange and Mordo? Yes please. I realize these are less guess-worthy now and more wishful thinking...
  15. Yeah. Male hero redo, single digit wave = classic Ketch GR, Stealth IM, or Yellow DD. Would be nice to see Mockingbird, Jocasta, Savage She-Hulk, Hellcat, or Clea. Movie villain is intriguing... add Killmonger to the list. I'd love to see Whiplash/Blacklash. Malekith wouldn't seem to fit the loose theme. Mordo. Minn-Erva. Batroc. Ghost. Ego.
  16. I'm very excited for the new Beast, updated Archangel and new effects parts. Thanks for sharing Zach.
  17. Yessir, I like it. "Marvel MiniMates: Ulti-Mates"
  18. My read from Zach is that regardless, they'll trumpet the 80th series as a milestone. To answer his prompt though: no, I don't think highlighting the longevity of a series is a deterrent to new collectors. But you do want to toe that line, and have folks spend less time on eBay, and more time in LCS and Walgreens buying new product. Devil's Advocate thoughts: 1) Zeroing out the count with a big re-launch could be an interesting push for the line. 2) Exploring different form factors would be cool - I love the BAF model, but what about singles in the form of "Ultimates" - marquee characters with multiple heads, bases, all of the accessories from the past. I'm thinking for example: Spider-Man with half-mask head, Peter head, stressed expression, web wrap base, web grab hand, thwip hands, camera, backpack, web lines, web shooter accessories, etc. Or a totally gonzo Mr. Fantastic with tons of limb accessories. Punisher with an insane armory. This could also be a sub-line rather than a formal re-launch.
  19. Bastion arrived yesterday, and he looks great! If any X-Men fans missed out on him, I'd be willing to make a trade for one of Luke's earlier customs. Please PM me if you're interested.
  20. Counting BAF waves, both existing and announced, and including exclusive BAFs (Wal-Mart Giant-Man wave, Fin Fang Foom wave, etc.), you get 68 BAFs. Plus 9 non-BAF TB waves, plus the Epic Heroes non-BAF wave, you get 78. ...If you include the Vintage waves, ML will be up to 81 once all of the announced stuff hits the market (spring of next year).
  21. Thinking more about this: it doesn't need to land this year, necessarily. Just brand the wave "80 Years of Marvel" and "Wave 80!!" Marvel Legends will soon pass up Minis, but right now no other Marvel toyline has gone this many waves before. It feels like something that should be celebrated.
