Probably depends on whether Marvel has something they really want to push, but we saw with the All-New X-Men kerfuffle that DST does sometimes get concept art for early stage books.

No Rogue makes me wonder if it even is an Axis wave, she was all over this event, perfect opportunity to get her made. Cyclops is the only other character I'd be that excited to see. Oh and Quire! Totally forgot he was in the early issues.

Cyke, Rogue, Wasp and Iron Man would be top of my list. I'd rather wait (even longer!) for a classic Enchantress, didn't she have a more modernized costume in this? I've already kind of blocked it all out.

He does, I guess because he came with the Cerebro helmet, although that could have been made without a peg. I think the fact that Luke sold those sheets of head stickers a while back means it bugs at least a handful of us. All Lego minifigs do have the head bump but like Valo said, most 'bald' mates don't have a hole, so I also think it looks pretty off when they do.

There's a lot of other characters I'd want to see before Superman got square-pegged into the line, it's bad enough only getting one Animated Series fig in half the waves. But apparently Batman was the top-selling toy for Diamond last month so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a similar JLU line in the works. I'm hoping that that Gotham show being around makes Alfred and Gordon more likely to show up at some point.

He looks great, but I got a bit wary of the third party stuff when the paint started flaking off my 3P Huffer a few months after I bought him. From reading about that and QC issues on other figures, it seems like some of the factories they work with don't have the experience/standards to produce this stuff properly. That said, I'll probably still pick up that MP-scale Snarl because I don't see Takara ever making one, but I figure an official Megs will show up at some point.

Mnemosis, MTMTE is maybe my favourite book coming out right now. I definitely wasn't expecting to suddenly find Megatron such a compelling character. Saga is the other contender for me, I've been reading it digitally but the art's so great I'm going to spring for that big omnibus coming out next week. Axis, yeesh, not sure what happened there, I've loved pretty much everything in Uncanny X-Force/Avengers. For some reason so many otherwise solid Marvel writers end up producing these lame events.

"All-New X-Men" is a play on words -- the old team from back when they were new, shoved into current stories. And of course it's also referencing when they switched out the "Uncanny" qualifier for "All-New, All-Different" back in the '70s. I guess it's silly that they've used it on other titles since then, but I still think it's a clever name for the X-Men book. Also there's no way Marvel editorial isn't in on the joke of their constant renumbering/renaming thing at this point, I mean they released a comic called "All-New Marvel NOW! Point One #1.NOW" a while back.

I only know Moira from mid '90s Excalibur, but she wore glasses all the time in that book.

Picked up the Jack Rabbit set today, same great quality as the rest of the Tarantinomates. Zach, any idea if the Hastings set is on track for the November release estimate on their site?

I'm all for more Hickman mates, those ones in particular are probably not top of my list but I'd like a Black Swan, sure. Mostly I wish DST had cast the net a bit wider with Infinity, to give us Ex Nihilo, Star Brand, Smasher, Cap Marvel etc. But then I still wish we'd gotten an FF Doom, Dragon Man and Nathaniel Richards to go with the FF set.

Oh that's interesting, I'd assumed it was a budget issue not a time one. I did really like how that Dana turned out though.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten how much I liked the control art for the Ready To Believe set, with the closed jackets and accessories. I passed on it when they switched to the plain, reuse jackets, just didn't look right to me. If they redid them as originally intended, I'd be in for sure. Good call on non-monster Librarian too... I thought I just wanted a Janine at this point, but there's some good ideas in this thread!

These two please, especially Janine. Just saw this on the big screen a little while back, when they did the theatrical re-release, and it reminded me how funny they both are in the few scenes they get.

The alt Banner head makes for a nice transforming Connors face if you didn't get one of Luke's sticker sets, and don't dig that Lizard head. And I really love being able to fix up a disappointing mate from eight (!) years ago with the extra Cage parts, that's some dedication from DST.

Mine got them in.

Man, Krang's Chronos Corps alone would make for one helluva wave, put them alongside Rogue, Wasp etc, to round out the good guys we already got, that would make my year Minimates-wise. Such a good book.

He has hands with a soda and a burger sculpted into them, but no regular hands. I don't know who would want to pose him without the food though, he looks awesome!
