As far as games for my mates I usually just sub them in for monopoly pieces. Now there is no fight to be the car it is who gets to be the batman.

I have been collecting since the beginning. I am talking 3 in. I counted last night at 210. I am pretty sure I may have missed some between work, where I keep my opened collection, and where I keep my closed collection. WOW that is still a lot of minimates. Congratulations to everyone else you your collection kick a$$, keep up the good work!

While it would have been cool to get old school bsg, I am happier that they decided to focus on the new bsg. I mean would there be enough support for the classic line? It is similar to the discussion that is happening in the marvel forum when ever a movie license comes out, the classic comic book fans get up set because they see it as a set back for comic book based lines. It would be the same here classic BSG would push back production of the mates the majority of people want. As for the vehicles I fear a repeat of what happened to C3.

I fixed mine last night, no problems. I did not even notice it was wrong, but once you move it it looks so much better.

Michael always has good, fair reviews if anyone is still on the fence about these (why I have know clue) I would trust this review and any other he puts up on his website.

I am also for a Spirit minimate I think that would be awesome. I hope some from AA is reading this, although they are probably not.

There are some really COOL marvel sets coming out. Thor, Spiderman 3, x-men 3, Ghost rider, just to name a few. Besides think of how cool it will be to have Batman fight Wolverine. Or Superman team up with Captain America and take on the cylon army. Oh sorry you would also have to buy the Battlestar Galactica minimates to do that. Hey welcome to the madness

How would Transformers work anyway? Would they transform? Or simply be there robot version of the characters?

I got mine for 8 a pop (same as the marvels) but LCS was running really late, and opened up the box in the back, and brought out my 4 just for me, before they even went out! Here are some things I noticed: Batman's cowl is the same mold from the c3 batgirl, or at least I think so. Harley Quinn's civil hair is the same as c3 batgirls. Batman's cape is the same as the c3 one BUT it does not detach. All the figures look great and I have had no problems with breakage. The only paint issue I can see is on Harley and it is just some smudging. But the paint apps are really just out of this world good!

LCS opens in an hour I will post pict asap. they sound crazy cool.

Oh man! I have not been this excited for movie minimates since batman begins! these guys are going to be sweet i can't wait until they come out! do we know when these are coming out? June, but doesn't the moive come out in May? and the box set comes out in july, but the add sounds like it would come out first.

Good call. But I still like the c3 head better with the cowl is separate from the face. But what does lie under the new mask? Is it bruce? Is it blank? Or is it a head sculpt and no mask? I guess we will find out tomorrow (22 hours)

This time tomorrow I should be knee deep in minimate bliss!!!

DEC060320 DC MINIMATES WAVE ONE (RES) PI 43.5 hours to go.

No one cares about my collection :sad: . We had an open house yesterday, only a few of my friends commented on them, and they may have just pitied me. There were even some children over and nothing not a word. Granted I only had the bat cave set-up but still that is pretty big and noticeable, especially with the batmoblie and the batwing parked next to it too. Whatever, I say hey, its your collection, just slap their hands and tell them “you look with your eye not your hands!†As for those of you with kids, you should be really happy you kids are into this stuff. My LCS owner was just saying that out of his 5 kids, none of them are into comics at all! It makes cense too. My parents were not into comics or had large collection of actions figure. I don’t think they even saw Spiderman (one or two!). However I am not saying let them go willy-nilly with your black Spiderman. But hey I don’t want to tell you how to raise your kids I am just trying to express how lucky you are.

I totally did not see this one coming, but what agreat surprise. I can't wait until september!

These mates look great series 1 is coming out soon! and while there is a long wait between waves there are some awsome mates in between

I like the new packages. while I was kind of look forward to boxs the packages look really cool. Although I do find it odd: Each wave features one character on the package. wave 2 features batman. but while there is a batman in wave 1 and 3 there is NO batman in wave 2. oh well.

I think it would be cool to see him in his modern costume. with the mostly green chest, and white lattern on the chest.

This set is a little on the gross side. I was never much for zombies to begin with, and I don't know how I feel seeing undead version of some of my most beloved super heroes. That being side they do look rather cool in the way they are being implemented.

can some one scan all the pages of this toyfare? rather all the pages having to do with minimates?

I had that same problem, I was able to finally get them off, and that is the only problem I have had. In fact I think these have been some of the best mates in a long time!
