I picked up Janine/Slimer with my 20% off coupon today. I love the new cables. I'm a little worried about them falling off, but it slipped back on easily enough and has stayed on. I would probably re-buy the movie GB with removable packs like this.

Ya, I was the one that asked. Not the answer I was hoping to hear! I wonder what the deal is. Mattel said they aren't doing an Ecto-1 because it would be too expensive, not because they are forbidden to do so.

DST said they couldn't make the movie Ecto-1, this is pure speculation on my part, but I hope that those restrictions don't cover the fictional RGB Ecto-1 design.

HUGE! If they're giving one of the ghosts that much detail, I'm really hoping the actual Ghostbusters get their own, cartoon-based sculpts.

I finally ordered this set! http://amzn.to/ikbsXf I had a free $20 from LivingSocial's deal yesterday, so after shipping it only cost me about a dollar! Woot!

I've heard this before, but I still think of the packs as blue. Even Mattel ended up making their RGB packs blue, but they seem to be basing everything off the Kenner toys, so that's probably not the strongest argument for them being blue.

I hope they make the proton pack blue! I'm sure they will fix that. I would prefer a new sculpt for the gun, since it looked different.
