Iron Man = God I would buy up those Minimates super fast.

Wow....wow, wow, wow...that's all I have to say... This is what the Marvel Line needs...more new characters, less repaints, and more villains (thank the lord) Apocalypse, Ultron, Mysterio, Abomination; all look incredible. Finally an Archangel Minimate complete with awesome wings! Very happy with Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, and especially Vision. And I want that Defenders set! Excellent job DST. This, along with the upcoming Avengers line will finally put Marvel back on track.

Will the contests be more like these (random number contests)? Because I'm not experienced at all with customs... Yes. Some contests will ask you to show your artistic side, while others will test your genre knowledge, but quite a few will be fairly random. cool! I hope there are some drawing contests, because I'm pretty good with the ol' pencil and paper.

How about Miss America, Whizzer, and The Human Torch (android)? Also, I want the Invaders; Thin Man, Blazing Skull, Tara, and Union Jack And I wanna see Alpha Flight and Great Lakes Avengers sets too...

We've all got our favorite obscure characters. Maybe they only showed up for a couple issues of your favorite comic book, or maybe even just a couple pages! Although our favorites may be different we all wish for one thing: that those cool, under -appreciated characters should be transformed into Minimates, so we can gaze in the 2 inch glory forever! So post your favorite obscure character you'd love to see in Minimate form, and why you like them so much.

I see... I don't know, it seemed so odd that I actually found a wave 1 set still on retail shelves. I'll probably go down to the shop and buy a set within the next week or so.

I am a proud "open 'n play" club member, but, seeing as how the general reaction is that the carded Bruce Lee's are as rare as Haley's Comet, I would suggest not opening them.

Well, I'm already seeing Giantman/Daredevil Zombie preorders on some sites. It's inevitable my friend, they'll all show up eventually on teh great internets.

Okay, so I walked into my local comic shop and I scanned the place until I found the Minimates sections. As I'm looking around, I see an Elektra/Yellow Daredevil set. I was really surprised, given the fact that these were wave 1 figures. But then that got me thinking...how rare are the wave 1 figures? Should I go back and buy them as soon as I can? Or is there no rush?

They should just do another Avengers line. Wave 16 is gonna rock hard, so why not round out the team? Yellowjacket/Wasp (This HAS to be done) Black Panther/Vision Hawkeye/ Ms. Marvel Captain Britain/ Falcon and for variant...I don't know maybe Binary for Ms. Marvel??

Yes! I want an Omni-Man minimate now. I want Zombie Iron Man NOW. I'd display him just as a torso.

See, this is the problem I have with the Ghost Rider and even the Spiderman 3 sets. I really don't like that fact that they're based on movies. I like the good ol' comic ones, and I don't know, it almost seems like it's selling out to do a movie. But maybe that's just me.
