  1. Thank you both. I fear the havoc that may be wrought, if Mecthulhu does break free of Dr. Thodt, but, oh the fun we will have until then.
  2. BEHOLD Mecthulhu After a bitter defeat in a previous Hunt, Dr.Thodt spent years researching how to harness and control evil powers. His previous research led him to believe that humans were too weak of a subject to be a conduit for his plans. The doctor knew that the greatest evil was that of the forgotten elder god Cthulhu but controlling it would be the most important aspect. After experimenting on unwilling geists, Dr. Thodt found that he could use the electrical field created by machinery to trap and control them. Finally, the day came to pull the dark lord Cthulhu from his slumber and into the shell the doctor had created for it. The equipment did what it was designed to and with surprising ease the transfer had been accomplished. The doctor realizes the success of the process is only partially due to his own effort and that had the dark god not desired this, it would not have worked. So Dr. Thodt waits for the god to break free from his hold, knowing Cthulhu is a patient god. Until then, the doctor is only too happy to control it and use it in hopes of winning the hunt. Challenge 2 - Working on the 'Cover Contest' Challenge 3 - Back to School Challenge 4 - Staying Cool Challenge 16 - Gathering the Avengers
  3. I was more excited for Photog than for Dreago. I personally have created 3 characters I am entering into the character contest. God that would be awesome. I am a little worried about the subs declining. I hope that means more day of buyers. I can't wait to get my Man-E as he was one of my favorites as a kid.
  4. Party starts 00:00 Zulu time.
  5. This is actually a common practice, there may not be a lot of people that would make the purchase then try to return it for full price but it happens and when it does it takes away from the bottom line of the company. One of the major factors for prices being as high as they are is theft. Typically, for every item that is sold, it can take between 3 and 10 like item sales to break even for the single items theft. And then you factor in the fact that our country is financially in the pooper and more people are willing to do dishonest things to get by. But yes as a MIB collector it can be annoying, since you got no warning.
  6. I don't think they are going to have the crazy quick sellouts again but I know that the figures will most likely go back to selling out in short periods of time. Which makes me all the happier that I get the subscription.
  7. Shadow Weaver alone made me want the subscription even if she had just been a monthly figure. I expect her to be one of the most sought after figures from this line. I am still not sure how I feel about $80 for Granamyr, but I know my wife will want him, so I will still get him.
  8. I got to add the Polly into my cart but by the time it stopped f*cking me, it had sold out. Bloody ridiculous, the item I figured there would be the least interest in is the only one that sells out. I know that eBay is going to be flooded with over priced ones in the next week. I really wish Matty would make is so the subscription is all inclusive, not all inclusive minus what we don't want to put into it.
  9. I posted my previous one less than a year ago and half have been made or are soon to be. I love it means I have to start going into more obscure characters. My updated Top 10: * Bob Agent of Hydra * Nate Grey * Longshot * Puck * Hephzibah * Demogoblin * Exodus * Alex Hayden * Madcap * Scarecrow Spider-Man/Wolverine Variants: * Amazing bag-man * Bone claw and bandana Wolverine Army Builder: * Infinites * Phalanx
  10. I was surprised they did a Voltron sub I didn't know that there were that many dedicated fans.
  11. Completely love everything revealed in this. Most excited for the Alcala based Skeletor head, Kobra Kahn, Fisto, Fearless Photog and Shadow Weaver. I think I might enter the create-a contest maybe a couple of times. It would just be too awesome to have my own figure. They are definitely starting next year off awesome even without the 30th figures being in the sub.
  12. I am really hoping for at least Airwalker and Firelord to be released separately.
  13. Yeah after typing I popped over to the org and that was pretty much what they were saying. I am hoping a couple were true, but I have a feeling the slime pit, zombie and blast attack are truly bogus. I actually want a Disco Skeletor though and a Lodar. But yeah I am sure it is all just to mess with us and stir up the buzz. God 2 pm Cali time is forever off.
  14. just found the post list of releases for the next 6ish months the ones that I am excited for are Lodar, Sweet Bee, Rattlor and Disco Skeletor!! The ones I have am not are Gwildor, Blast Attack, and the damnable club exclusive Slime Pit He-Man. I say Damnable because I was excited that this years was not going to be a He variant. The WTF are Artilla and ZOMBIE Randor.
  15. Yeah, I read that on the org too, but it sounded too much like someone blowing smelly stuff. I saw a picture at the Matty booth referencing Fearless Photog which would be so much kick ass I don't know what I would do with myself. There is also a rumor about a create-a-character contest coming again, aka the origin of Fearless Photog. I am completely stoked for all things in this line.
  16. based on what few hints they have said I am guessing it will not be a He-man variant but possibly a character that was only a prototype or only ever drawn up but not sculpted. I just want to know what the vehicle we are supposed to be getting is. I am a little annoyed that there is a Vs. pack that is an SDCC exclusive. I am really excited for Man-e-Faces next month. Clawful is cool and definitely one that I loved but Man-e was one of my first as a kid.
  17. LOVE IT!! Jamie is one of my most lamented over mates. Awesome work.
  18. I was thinking more Robin Hood Men in Tights Cary Elwes
  19. I hate nay saying this movie, as once it was announced I was completely stoked for it, but the first couple of trailers left me feeling like this was just a big budget animated movie. This one is an improvement, but I feel it is still missing a realistic feel. The non-human characters still look green screened in and animated. They are beautiful but cartoony.
  20. The Downtown comics shop is right of the circle so if you are near there it isn't too bad. I remember when I used to live there they had mates not much but they had them. The other shops around town you would need a vehicle to get to.
  21. Yeah I ordered mine almost the day they were put up and I still don't have them confirmed yet. I am a little more than annoyed.
  22. I am surprised they didn't go with more clear parts to go with the look of the outfit. The mates in all their blockiness look more realistic than the images that have been released so far. I love the army builder dump just for the sheer QC friendliness of it. Now if only DC can figure out a way for all of their characters to be in one movieverse.
