FINALLY, some marvel mates that can compete with the DC mates. Cloak, Dagger and War Machine looks freaking sweet. i am speechless on the Nova.

well guys. this place i get all my DC mates from ebay said they have it in stock. and i believe they are good for it. so i just ordered it from them. i believe there are still 10 sets left. the store name is "Enchanted Toy Chest" they ship pretty fast too. i will PROBABLY get it by this friday.

OH MY GOD. I THINK I JUST SHAT MY PANTS. I AM SOOOOOO BUYING THEM WHEN THEY COME OUT. "the men with no name" trilogy is one of my personal favorites. along side with the "Dirty Harry" series. i still cant believe they are coming out in mates' form. now i am wondering, why the second one? why not "the good the bad and the ugly" ? but dude, the pocket watches better be included, with the "pictures" inside. and cigars, and the guns, and the money bags, the wagons.... my god, i am excited about this.

finally got them. and i am not impressed... here's why. 1) none of the hair piece/ hat piece wants to stay on the head 2) the shape of the hair piece is too big for the head, especially Pietro and Simon. they just dont look right. 3) my she hulk is falling apart. her arms barely stays on. 4) Wanda is painted with cheapest shade of red/pink EVER. i dont know why, but she just look soooo wrong. 5) for some reason, my thor has a huge forehead. it seems like the hat piece is floating on top of his head, i doubt the peg even touches the hole in the head. overall. this line sucks. the only reason it's cool it because of the character choice, but it's horribly executed. so far, we have 5 series of DC mates now, and each and single one of those KICKED the recent almost non-existing Marvel mates BUTTT, it's like watching any team play against Notre Dame (alright, fine low blow and i apologize). you get my point.

well. after like 3+ weeks. i finally got my Thor!!!! even though the box that they were shipped in looks like someone beat it with a baseball bat repeatedly... but that's not the point, the point is I GOT MY THOR!!!! (i am trying to sound excited... truth is, the quality of the mates are soooo bad.... like man.... dont even get me started on what's wrong with them) in conclusion, personally opinion only. i am never gonna pre-order anything on ebay, and i seriously doubt i will be getting anything from them ever...

yea. alright. so skynet is right. it is collectoruniverse. i will give them one more week, and i will start raising hell.

by the way, am i allowed to disclose the seller's name here? you think i would get it trouble if i do?? coz i mean, i wouldnt want any of my fellow minimates collectors to go thru the same thing. waiting for them to come out is one thing, waiting for them to get to your house even though you already paid for it is an entirely different story.

so yea. i had some time during lunch at work, so i went in to check the feedback. apparently this store has 70 negative feedback in the last 12 months (201 total in years of business) but all the negative seems to have the same reason: "paid but never deliver" so yea. lucky me huh? if it comes to worse, it's only thirty something dollars... unlike some of the feedback.... i think i saw one that cost over $150... bummer...

thanks for the advice. i actually just sent them another email, i will see what they say. it's a store, with over like 16 thousand feedbacks and stuff, power seller and all that. so i donno, hopefully they are as good as they claim to be. or else, HEADS WILL ROLL.

so. i ordered the Thor line last month. actually, the day after it came out in the West coast. however, during that time the ebay store that i been getting all my DC mates from (Enchanted Toychest, they are awesome by the way) didnt have it yet. so i ordered it from someone else (which in hindsight, big mistake, explanation as follow), this store that is supposedly based in New York (coz the name said so) Now this is the interesting part. they said it's still a preorder at that time, and i think to myself, alright, fine, coz you are in the East coast and from what i been reading for the pass 3-4 years, East coast gets stuff later. it's been 3 weeks later. i still havent gotten my Thor... note that i also contacted them a week later, when the East coast supposedly got their stuff, but they still said they havent gotten it, and tell me to read the item descriptions, coz it said it will ship within 30 days. i never experienced any pre-order deal, so my concern is, is this normal? am i overreacting? or i just got shafted. anyone please help? maybe give me some comfort so i can sleep at night??

oh hot damn, yes, capes. apparently i cant type...

yea, so hawkman is still in the mail but i cant wait anymore. took my like couple months to finally get all the "furniture" together... soo BEHOLD!!! p.s. does anyone know or ever try to customize the capes? like make them from actual cloths? Because you asked for it, now there's more. and without any filter. and as a bonus, my "before shat gone to hell avengers"

i am really not diggin the whole "big chest" thingie they have goin on... dont get me wrong, hawkman and hawkgirl look awesome, with their wings and such. but, having that bulky chest piece makes them look VERY odd. it's like a frekaing rubis cube with wings and legs. i mean, fine, you can bulk up doomsday and darksied anytime, but can you at least try to keep the rest to "normal chest" please?? oh and have any of y'all pull the new robin along side with the old nightwing from the C3 line? robin is freaking HUGE standing next to nightwing, i donno why that is, but it just looks funky.

overall, this set is pretty awesome. probably the best Marvel Mates since... hmmm, damn, i cant even remember when was the last "impressive" marvel wave i gotten... that's pretty damn sad. however, the only thing i dont like about this set is Logan's big chest. to be honest, i am never a big fan of the whole "big chested" deal. (even for powergirl, she would look so much hotter if they just keep it "normal" chested) i guess all is left to do is to pick up the exclusive two pack to complete the collection. final judgment: kids, save your lunch money and go buy them when they are still available.

soooo. i guess the figures are not out in the east coast yet? i saw them in my local comic store (in Cali), but they dont have the whole set, so i didnt get it there. i went home and got them on this ebay store... i already paid for it... but then they said it's still a pre-order coz they said it's not being released yet... and that store is in NY... or somewhere in the East side... can anyone confirm this? or did i just get shafted? i mean, I WANT MY THOR DAMNIT

dude. Thor is the only thing i am looking forward to, and i cant wait to have the Marvel Trinity. (now that i have the DC Trinity) i was never a big fan of movies related toys/games... yea, sure the movies are entertaining (except for some... *cough daredevil *cough), but toys based on movies are almost always dissappointing... to me anyways...
