Hey guys, I've moved most of my collection into a new man cave thanks to my very understanding wife, everything has it's place except my minimates. I've got no idea where to put them. Any ideas for minimate specific shelving or display options? I'd love some ideas guys as I really don't want pack em away. Thanks in advance

Thats pretty common here in Australia, TRU (and target) are doing at the moment for the Transformers 3 stuff so as not to spoil the movie. In a toy store I worked at many moons ago there were penalties in place if you sold items before the "street date" which was for the phantom menace toys. It was a huge fine but i doubt TRU would do that.

Man Wolverine 90 was an awesome issue, some of Adam Kuberts best work. Im so gonna go dig that out now for a read. AOA still remains one of my faves. the newest story sucked but the old still holds up IMO.

Heh Thanks Guys, @ K80 nope not a fan at all Years of dedication. about 80% of the Joe Stuff and All of the old TFs were mine in the 80's (Im only 31 I just loved my Joes)

I've got 9 Hot toys figures so far, and they are brilliant if your into it. Fragile as hell so you do have to be careful but aside from the my 'mates the are the most satisfying figures I own. when I do get the odd one I really struggle to put them away with the rest of the collection. wether or not you think they are worth the money is up to you. I do but i really have to limit how many I buy so i just get the ones from movies or games I really like.

i'd be nice if DST offered up a 2 pack at SDCC of both Angels to help everyone complete their sets.

Sooooo disappointed. They arrive today and had a bunch of busted parts. Most of John's Pouches are busted his rifle stock is broken which I was ok about as I managed to get the Final battle versions rifle which will make him screen accurate , Both were missing there stands and Marcus is missing one shotgun shell (which annoys me a great deal) and the red patch of the leather jacket. I think the guy I got them of didn't have a clue on how to set them up. So I've managed to get all the parts I need to Make them right But i'll have to wait until they come to be satisfied, Other than that they look great. V1 Joker is good but head sculpt wise it don't hold a candle to the DX version. If you haven't bough the second true type to display the cop version I'd put the DX head on the V1 body and set up the cop version.

I'm so pumped right now. I won John Connor and Marcus Wright for 223 AU of eBay which is cheaper than just one would be for me to get here. and they should arrive soon. Cant wait.

Love the custom Bob TENIM_art. I did the exact same thing when i got mine. Movie Pete's grin is the goofiest spare head I had but it fits soooo well.

Well i got mine today and despite the reviews i wasn't as disappointed as i though I'd be. Spidey's crap but i didn't expect any thing anyway so no biggie. I can live with Vultures wings so again not a big problem. Doc Ock, well after reading about the troubles with tentacles i just used hot water and BAM they went in brilliantly. Black Cat was the only one i was a little bummed about. Maybe Luke can do us up a "touch up" decal to fix her up. With those and TRU wave 6 and the Iron man army builders all arriving today I've had a great morning.

I've never had a drama with BBTS either BHM, did they say what went wrong?

I did find some pics in this thread http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.ph...20&start=20 and scale wise i think it looks ok but i would imagine that Chief wont fit as they'll probably use bigger chest pieces

Wow the non-licensed sets are a nice surprise, maybe if the make it to regular retail the'll increase the availablity of the other licensed sets. Never thought i'd be so excited to see a stiltman 'mate he looks brilliant!
