I agree about the Delorean. It would indeed secure this line in history. But you know what would be even better than just the car itself? Picture this... The Delorean comes packed in a window box with both Marty and Doc Brown minimates wearing their respective radiation suits. Marty would include his radiation suit helmet, Walkman, camcorder and hair dryer (from the scene with the Darth Vader gag he plays on George). Doc Brown would include his radiation suit helmet, clip board, canister of plutonium, remote control for the Delorean, stop watch and Einstein (wearing other stop watch). Man... if only this set was going to happen for real. DST are you guys listening? Better yet... Make sure the Delorean comes with interchangeable lightning rod and Mr. Fusion or A step further, removeable/interchangeable wheels/tires (80's stock, 1950's whitewalls and railroad wheels). If the railroad axle fits a G-Scale trainset, then you could push it to 88 MPH with a real train... or maybe that's a bit over-the-top.

It'd be great to get some generic, civilian parts. I've been working on collecting BSG heads to make some of the variants that I don't think we'll see like Dualla, Boomer and Helo in officer's uniform. Since I have extra flight-suit & fatigue bodies, I'd like to get civilian heads and hair to make some of the more obscure pilots. Fortunately, for now, the helmets make the faces hard to distinguish.

Those BTTF minimates are soooo cool. I've never been into '24' so, though they look neat, are not particularly interesting for me. Now I've gotta add yet another license to track down (as if ST and BSG weren't enough). Western Doc & Marty along with "Mad Dog" Tannen and Clara whats-her-bucket would be a cool set too. Gotta have docs custom rifle, Marty's colt and the Frisbee as accessories

There's no way I'm gonna be able to get the award for quantity.... some of you guys are just too good and there are a couple of things (theme park ride) that I just can't pull off. I guess I'm going to have to work artistic merit angle on the pics I can get done. Good luck all... by my clock, there's only 27 hours and 35 minutes left.

I know a place that has a few of the loose modern cyclon single packs. Maybe three or 4 left.

I'd like to see an original GI Joe minimate... like the original 12" action figures. A generic soldier with lots of cool weapons and accessories. And expandable with Mission packs?

I don't think these have hit the FYE/Suncoast chain. Might be worth keeping an eye open. I doubt they get direct shipments from DST - most likely they take a detour through a central warehouse and that may add 1-2 weeks. They were rolling in the variants weeks after BSG wave 1 was out. Oddly enough, I noticed that DST was out of stock on BSG 2 and ST 1 within a week after they appeared. Apparently they blow everything out all at once. Good luck finding your variant - I'll let you know if I find one at my usual haunts

So, besides the Classic BSG (which are off the board, if rumors are true), we've seen prototypes of Baltar (w/ lab coat), Cally and Gaeta. Were the Roslin/Zarek set prototypes or were they always just illustrations? Any pics?

That's good news - I wish my TRU still had minimates in stock. I wouldn't mind a couple of street fighter minimates atclearance prices. The darktide set would be even better. Looks like I'm gonna have to see if any of the other TRU's have anything left

I noticed that too. I'm assuming series 2 was meant to have them as well, but something got flubbed up in the factory. Otherwise, how else would LCS like mine know that they should charge $15 for that set? That sucks that they charge more for the variant. The place I got mine kept the ST & BSG variant sets at the same price as the others. What surprised me was the the ST sets were cheaper than the BSG by $2 each.

I saw a Gaeta prototype also. I hope to see that one..... though with so many good characters still out there, I'd like to see at least 1 more wave (after 3) if not more

Has anyone heard anything about the labcoat Baltar that was pictured in some of the early minimate promo photos?

Called my LCS, they have the Rocky and ST arriving on wednesday, scooped. Them hoes did not order the bsg wave 2... Now I have to search around. I don't know if you have access to a Things from Another World store.... they had all three (ST, BSG and Rocky) last week.

James Bond would be cool.... but there are so many Bonds, Villians, Sidekicks and Bond Women. It would be a lot of Minimates. Fifth Elelment had some cool characters that might translate nice I was disappointed to hear that classic BSG was off the board. As much as I like Trek - I'd go broke trying to keep up on all the TV series and movies

The Trek Minis are nice - I definitely recommend them - Given recent events - goin' Britney might be more appropriate

Red Dwarf would be cool.... I wouldn't mind seeing some Pirates of the Caribbean Minimates - Can you say Jack Sparrow Minimate? Lots of cool characters to draw upon. I think Master & Commander would be fun too - minimates w/ cannons and lots of other fun accessories (pistols, sabers, cutlasses, boarding pikes & axes, muskets, tankards - you name it) . (but it's not exactly mainstream)

Hey - I'm with you. 1. I'm getting a little tired of Star Wars and certainly don't see the need for another product line to collect that competes with Galactic Heroes and the 3 3/4" figures. Who would want DST taking away design and production capacity to market 50 million clone trooper variants (red, green, orange, plaid etc) when there's so much left to do in the BSG, Star Trek & BTTF lines(which are all under appreciated in the merchandising department compared to SW). 2. MORE BSG - I figure we can squeeze at least 2 more good waves of characters before the series ends including Cally, Gaeta, Roslin, Zarek, Cottle, Racetrack, Hotdog, Kat, Cavil, Leobon, Aaron Doral, Simon, Torrie, Anders (gotta have all the Cylons represented) and I also wouldn't mind seeing a couple of colonial marines (male & female). If I had to throw an idea out there (though I know Hasbro & lego have already snatched it up) I'd throw Indiana Jones out there. That would be really cool to have some Indy minimates.

I got my ST set today at my LCS.... These guys are cool. Now just have to wait for my BSG wave 2 to arrive and I'm set.... until the next waves.

Quick question - I hope this is the appropriate place... Do you want us to send the entry pics as we take them (2 or 3 at a time) or would you rather get them all at once?

Woo Hoo! My BSG set is on the way - AFX sent me tracking numbers last night shipping from So Cal. Now I just have to track down my STar Trek set. Any news on e-tailers that show them in stock. I'm seeing nothing at the usual suspects (BBTS, AFX, Stuckakid, Toywiz or TFAW)

Looks like they're in stock at BBTS also.... nothing for Star Trek yet though
