I hope TRU hangs in there with the Minimates. After doing a 4 store tour recently, I was surprised how many associates knew exactly what I was talking about.. "Minimates?.. are those the small collectibles with lego compatible feet that are usually superheroes?".. why yes, yes they are. For years I have received the blank look and the, "I have no idea".. so to see more recognition has been nice. Almost every favorite unique Marvel character I have purchased in the past 4 years has been a TRU exclusive. Long live TRU.

Done and done. Request/question sent to DST. He has been in space a good portion of the time since NOW! started. Much of the time when we see his black and gold suit he is operating it remotely from space. Cool idea to have 2 versions of Iron Man in 2 comics "happening" at the same time.

I know i've mentioned her and Doctor Strange whenever NOW! talk pops up (and Hawkeye and Black Widow, but fortunately we already got them). Love Carol, love the book, love the new look, desperately a Minimate of her. I would love to see an Iron Man Guardians of the Galaxy armor / Carol Danvers with swap out space helmet pack. What are the odds Zach?

Good to be among the wise. My favorite mates are unique Iron Man armors and Pepper's was knocked out of the park. It's perfect. I almost never pose them with the helmet off but her head and hairpiece are brilliant so I have broken my display trend.

Just getting caught up on a bunch of Marvel Now reading and it is making me even more excited for the various Marvel Now designs (some in this wave and some in the TRU stuff lately). I've searched around in here and I have not seen anyone talking about the new Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) look. Any ideas on whether she gets mated? (I know what I said)

Weird and wild stuff. Stopped at the Sugarhouse TRU near Salt Lake City checking on Imaginext stuff for my boy and found 1 Marvel Now Ironman/Hulk pack laying on some other toys. I looked all over to see if the rest of wave 16 were around and could not find anything. Since that was the main 2-pack I wanted anyway.. I calmly picked it up and walked to the checkout. Very weird since wave 17 hit here quite a while ago.. but since I had given up on finding wave 16, I take it as a Festivus Miracle.

Bsore broght his into work today and each one came with a standard clear stand in the blister packaging. I still cant get myself to buy the dvd for 20... Looks like a time machine and a blockbuster video is my only hope.

The way i understood the announcement was that buying the dvd gives you a mail in for iron man (with changable parts) just pay S&H. Then the website will also be selling the Hulkbuster redo and Hulk with Iron Armor 2-pack for $9.99 at some point. I am pretty sure the are two seperate things promoting the animated movie. However it shakes out, i am extremely happy to get another Hulkbuster.. One of my top 5 favorite minimates of all time! I've said it before and i'll say it again, Zach gets it!

Well Gambitron, looks like Utah stores may have missed out on wave 16... I just found 17 in Layton.. But i never did see 16 anywhere. I got to the point that all i wanted was the New 52 Iron Man.. But i just cant justify the shipping when it should have shown up locally.

Been checking all 5 TRU locations in northen Utah pretty regularly (pop in during lunch, phone calls, etc.). We usually get things pretty timely here, sometimes a little late, but this is silly. At the very least 1 or 2 of these locations should have something. Curiouser and curiouser. Im bugged enough that im letting this wave go.. If i come across an iron man set as im looking for other stuff then ill snag it... But i wont go online and im not making special trips anymore.

One of the frustrating parts of this is with them not showing up in SO many states/areas.. Many collectors buy online and then when they finally show up on store shelves they sit.. Perpetuating the back log that may have been partially responsible for the delay in the first place.

Love that they made a Kat mate. She was great comic relief in the first movie.

Another truck passes through SLC without any Wave 16 minimates on it..
