  1. I'm pretty dissappointed that this isn't minimate sized, but I'm quite happy with my 1:24 scale delorean. you cant fit a whole mate in there, but the beauty of minimates is that you can take them apart easily. Bottom line, it would have been nice, but I'll live.
  2. I would be quite tempted if money wasn't so tight and it didn't cost my right arm to get the box to me over the pond. If anyone does get this I would absolutely love pictures.
  3. I don't hate Wolverine as a character, but this line really made me laugh. Thanks TTF! And TM2, I didn't say there was anything wrong with it, per se but it's not what MM are for and certainly not why I collect them.
  4. http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.php?showtopic=1283 I managed to find the original thread. Feel free to browse that thread and add your own picture Doc.
  5. Come back TBT! There are noobs for you to pwn!
  6. Still no effing Gambit?! Other than Blob and maybe a Sabretooth I'm gonna avoid this wave like the plague. Ok I get that Wolverine is recognisable but come on! There is only one good Wolvie coming out this year and thats the updated Classic costume. Their milking this movie so far! Ok the Iron Man Movie wave had a version of Stark/Iron Man in each box, but they were completely different. Here we have civilian wolvie, another civvie wolvie, another civvie wolvie etc. If I want toys with a wardrobe I'll buy bloody Barbie dolls! Not impressed! *end of rant*
  7. I'm a big Halo as if quite well known. Of course I would much prefer Minimate's and vehicles etc, but as this is the closest we will get, I quite like them. they're not completely terrible but many of the vehicles look mis-shapen, but I suppose what can you expect when curvy space age vehicles are made from building blocks? How big are Megabloks figures? Would Mate's fit in that 'hog? And how much does a boxed set generally retail for?
  8. Thanks for all the replies and help guys, and especiallythanks for the sum up Vig. And Trekker I'm disappointed in you. :P Looks like I have quite a lot to catch up on, but for me TPB's are more expensive that the comics I'd collect. I'd pay £1.95 for a joint issue of X-Men/Spidey (one issue of each printed together). A whole story is normally about 6 issues max right? so for around £12 I'd get two whole story arcs, one Spidey, one X-Men. TPB's cost me £11 each at my LCS so I'm paying practically double the price now. Maybe I'll give some of the Spidey ones a miss as X-Men is where my love lies.
  9. Yeah, that's exactly the point. The coat has to be scuplted, since we don't have a tied up version yet. The fedora I used comes with the Question and cut off the hair. I already cut off a little of the head piece as well to make it fit better, lower, but it doesn't work that way. And Rorschach wearing the hat would also be the tallest of all Watchmen. Maybe the fedora movie Spirit comes with looks better. If not, I have to look out for another solution. I do need a Rorschach, that's for sure. Oh, and it's "Ich liebe deine Watchmen". ("dein" would be singular and "deiner" doesn't exist.) Hey my German is only basic, and I haven't really used it in years, and the ie was just a typo. I can't wait to see your interpretation of Nite-Owl. Will he be comic based, rather than movie based?
  10. Rorschach's body and face is awesome, but I can see what you mean about the coat and the fedora. The hat does look quite big. I think the main problem with it is that there's too much white at the back, as Rorschach wears the fedora tilted up, with the collar touching the hat. Of course there is no minimate hat currently like this and so its not your fault. Ich liebe dien(e or er?) Watchmen!
  11. I know these are old customs and I commented on them before, but I managed to pick up a copy of Justice for All and I love it, and now I really appreciate these customs! They're awesome, I may have to make some myself.
  12. Man am I psyched for these mates! They all look so good. I couldn't see this posted before so apologies if it was but theres a large gallery on the Art Asylum website. http://www.artasylum.com/gallery/ghostbusters-minimates
  13. My best day is still the day I found a Maximate Sentinel for a measly £10. Best day ever!
  14. Congratulations to all you guys!
  15. Those Ultimates are PERFECT! I never expected to get a whole wave, I woulda settled for a boxed set. I love you DST! Also I read Ultimates and still don't know what the green stuff is. I guess it was explained in Ult Iron Man which I am yet to read. Gambit looks great too and the Ghostbusters stuff looks like such great fun, exactly what Minimates should be. I am disheartened that there were no BSG mates shown though . . .
  16. I like your Cap alot. I'm really not a fan of those full face masks either.
  17. I dunno, I think this thread organises all the gamertags together. Theres still a Wii friend code thread floating around right? And I'm ShadowSpartan12
