I'd like a Governor minimate that has his zombie daughter with chain accessory. Not only would that be a sellout, but it also would introduce a child zombie that can be used for customs

My bets are that it is Hope that dies, not Cyclops. I was surprised how consistent JRJ artwork is on this title. I found the individual panels to look terrible, but as a whole the artwork did not bother me at all. Overall excited to see where this goes, but hoping they represent the characters accurately.

I just noticed my Hobgoblin does not have a satchel. I see pics where he has one but the package and database does not show one. Was this black satchel included originally in the 2-Pack? If so, is it just the Green Goblin satchel painted black or the Star Trek black Satchels? Figure a quick modification might be easier than buying another pack if I am missing the original satchel.

FINALLY THE BROOD! One of the most requested Army Builders yet!

As a hardcore collector I am not burned out but more excited to see Minimates be so successful at retail. I admit that I hate having 45 different Wolverines and so many rehash figures just to get 1 or 2 new character releases. The only thing I hate more are the small scale of large characters like sentinels, and always hearing DST tell fans that making these staple characters help sell the other figures when all I see at Toysrus is shelves filled with Spiderman/Lizard packs peg warm. Some of the lines I collected like JLU bombed at retail and now the line has ended (granted it was Mattel distribution issues), or other lines like my MAX Factory figures are never sold at retail and only available via special order. I will continue supporting Mates as they come.

IS the new Brood minimates supposed to be an army dump or TRU exclusive? That was one of my most demanded new figure but see that the prototypes are already made!

The cap should definately be in effect. I ended up buying 13 of them cause I collect 15 army builders a series and the second set of shipping fees pissed me off so I had to keep adding to break 75.00, but I did get the option this afternoon to put 100 items in my cart. It's definitely the same damn Ebay "Stores" that keep clearing these out.... PLEASE TRU put a limit of 15-20 per cart MAX for the sake of collectors that work full time day jobs.

Damn, over a 100 Sentinels packs sold in less than 2 hours, damn it, I work during the day and can't keep logging into TRU website! I thought Toysrus was limiting the number you can add to the cart. The person buying TRU clean is the same scalper who I just paid 16.99 for 1 sentinel for. It's too bad that Toysrus allows you to fill up your cart with 100 of these and check out still. Makes me wonder if Toysrus has ANY other action figure product that sells this quickly online. No wonder they keep making exclusives with such ridiculous demand. And to think I actually HATE the tiny scale of these sentinels.

I bought them and paid the price because I can't wait, but more importantly I really can't stand trying to predict when my Toysrus next truck shipment is going to come in. The sales people there have no clue and I often go months not seeing any restock. I just buy them and if I see them eventually at toysrus I buy a few more sentinels for the win and the lower cost.

Marvel owns those comic Title Names and it makes sense from a marketing and investment perspective to continue to bring awareness to the same "brand names". But I disagree with your comparison. The new X-Force continues to be consistently feature a dynamic group of characters that do assassinations or other "dirty work" the public facing X-Teams can't pull off with so much attention. Great book these many past several years and it deserves recognition. A better comparison would be Batman and Detective Comics, or Amazing Spiderman and Spectacular Spiderman

Twisted, that perspective makes sense, but only if you disregard Marvel comic history, and start your own Minimate mythos. Historically speaking 616 Shield soldiers are just as easily killed in comics as any "background army". Often the 616 Shield agent is also a story tool to insert a traitor that has been replaced by an AIM or Hydra agent. For Shield "special spies" Marvel has often used other Shield or Marvel characters for infiltration in both 616 and Ultimate Universe: Black Widow (616 and Ultimate) Punisher (616 and Ultimate) Hawkeye (616 and Ultimate) Wolverine (616 and Ultimate) Cap America (616 and Ultimate)

Unfortunately, I have also contacted customer service multiple times regarding the similar QC issues. I did not get a reply or replacement. I did get a response once in the past, but it was for some missing Rocky hair pieces. Since then I have gotten into the habit of buying 2 of every mate, and keeping any poor QC sets for custom fodder. I just bought a small army of these new Shield Minimates, and I can't help but enjoy the older Ultimate Shield version more. It's not nostalgia, its because The older Shield Minimates version looked much more "army" like and I really enjoyed the realistic fatigues, helmet/goggles and AK weapon they came with. The new 616 version chest piece looks really awkward, and the weapons look very tiny. I also cannot imagine sending an "army" of any kind to fight super human threats without protective helmets or weapons that hold less than 20 rounds. The 616 costume would look great on a "white" Nick Fury, but an army of unprotected and unarmed agents quite frankly looks sorta weird right now. I feel like I need to buy a set of minimate weapons from ebay or swap out for custom Dum Dum, Fury, Hill, and Danvers.

Love this set and can't wait to buy. Finally a Venom that will be larger and tower over spiderman. FT Venom looks decent, just glad to have this new version. The new series is great and I would love to see a new Jack-O-Lantern to go against this FT Venom.

Is that a real spoiler? I thought it has been stated by the director Josh himself, that Skrulls/Centauri will not be in the movie.

If they are going this route I hope we get an AFX or other Con exclusive 4 pack that has at least Titania, Absorbing Man, Attuma and Juggy to complete the Villains.

I prefer saving future slots for new release army builders. The 2 biggest I see missing are the Brood and Moloids but there are still dozens more out there. I think the creation of female versions of army builders or ethnic variations would work. I also like thinking that my ebay hunting and collecting was not in vain. Saying that a figure should be released due to high after market prices, didn't seem to work well with the recent Deadpool, Wolverine, Spiderman and Venom 4 pack.

I try to get at least 4 of every army builder. The only ones that I have not gotten 4 of yet are the past 2 releases (Stone Men / Nimrod) I have about 16 Hydra minimates, 16 Shield Agents, 14 AIM , 12 Skrull, 11 Kree, 11 Multiplemen, 11 Hell Fire Guards, 8 Atlantians, 6 Omacs and all with accessories complete. I had to get them all hunting on ebay. I also bought a case of IM2 Drones, Thor Movie Army Dump Case and Cap America Hydra army case from Luke's Toy Store. I also have too many Cylons and Terminator Endo skeletons to currently dg out and count. When they all line up on a table with those foot stands, I am a happy collector.
