I keep 1 set MIB and then I will out the other open boxes in bin. Recently, due to space, I put all my mates back in their boxes and found out I missed alot of the earlier sets MIB. Due to BHM, I filled my MIB early sets.

I thought that these discussions should be moved to the comic book discussion thread. Alot of dialog on that thread after #100 came out 3 months back.

I really do agree that DC minimates were ahead of their times. When I look at them I really do see them as laying alot of the foundation for the way the newer marvel designs. The one thing that Marvel has yet to adopt is going to the 3 inch Minimate for characters like Apocalypse, Abomination, Wendigo, Etc. and I hope they reconsider when they renew the license and review the restrictions.

These sets sell out so dang fast! They need to lower the order limits again on Exclusive TRU Marvel Mates

I still cannot believe how fast the TRU Modok sold out on TOYSRUS.com! I thought that new minimums were put on mates so no one could buy more than 10 at a time. That sucker sold out like Hulkbuster Ironman did. All I need now is for Digger to give one away for free to the loudest complainer... than scalp the figure on ebay.... cause I wanted to buy something else!

Yeah, the kick starter site never allowed me to bump or change my pledge to the ultimate minimate bundle... sigh...

I still have the Manage your Pledge button. Click on it and you will find that you cannot actually submit a change. I could change my pledge $ and gift, but it would not accept the change. It also does not accept cancelations. I was going to cancel and start a new one, but the damn site doesn't allow you to rebuy under the same email address either at this point. Good score on the ninja mates. It's more jealousy and envy I need to get past.

Zach, do you have an update on the LCS Stealth Vorin offering? I think we've been waiting on news (good or bad) for over a month. I still have not even read #1 as I have a lot waiting to be shipped by Luke once the exclusives arrive.

Is something wrong with the site? I can't upgrade my 108 pledge to 138.00 for the ultimate minimate collection. Totally sucks that they keep adding new minimate prizes but seemed to lock out the changes or manage your pledge option. I have to cry foul to the last miniute change in gifts and not letting you update your pledge. And that Luke Toy Store Ninja really does piss me off a bit too. I've been wanting a limited run/release minimate for some time, but all I got was a single custom for over $1,000.00. I know politics play a role but I believe in the almighty dollar should be the final decision maker.

I've only ever seen people abbreviate The Dark Knight Returns to DKR. Even Dark Knight Returns Again is just DK2. TDKR actually DOES mean The Dark Knight Rises. So, you should go watch the movie again, or I don't know, read some Batman books. Not sure why everyone else's posts were a problem, they were making very obvious jokes. Fodder, Ra's is the main villain in the first Nolan Batman Begins movie and the person who rescues the mutilated protector of Talia from the pits and trains him to become Bane. Also, best not to discuss my comic book collection... Do not want to make you any more jealous or Trollish. Let's just keep to this thread and comments on these great customs. Can anyone here show me the link or Thread that has ButtHeadMates Collection? I believe this senior member is the only person with a collection larger than mine on this site and I am in the process of wrapping up my collection pics. Unfortunately I had to break them up into lots to make them all fit in my pictures to still show detail. Very Curious how one would show case huge/complete collections. I personally had to take my mates down and lay them out in my living room carpet. Otherwise it would have been like 25 pics of small sets/displays on the wall.

No, seriously.... We are referencing TDKR, and TDKR customs, not the Vengeance of Bane One Shot Comic... Bane was merely imprisoned in the pit in the movie and acted like a loving "Protector". It was not until Ra's Al Ghul rescued his badly mutilated body from the pit that he actually joined the League of Assassins and became reborn as "Bane". Watch the movie, Bane's mask or training did not begin/occur until he was rescued from the pits... And great custom Scare Crow mask!!!!!
