  1. What we have is absolutely terrific and I’m grateful for all of it. But I also just wish we’d gotten clean Bishop and Ferro. This line is one of my favorites and it’s a shame that there’s nothing new on the horizon.
  2. A spiky version of the Thing would be nice. Or even re-releasing the last TRU one but with the blue/white tank top “4” look and a few other parts to have different looks. I absolutely will never be satisfied until we get the classic Inhumans. But then again, I also won’t be satisfied until I’ve got a Dragon Alan, Diablo, Max Thinker, Awesome Android, Frightful Four, Red Ghost, etc etc etc. I could make a whole line JUST out of the first, say 50 issues, of FF and be happy for the rest of my life.
  3. What I like are the options to display characters how we want them without resorting to customizing. I wouldn’t mind a Thor like that if you could remove the bicep cover on IF you wanted to. And if I saw one in person, I might actually like it! If they packed it with a bulked up Destroyer... that’d be a thing of beauty! Same thing with that Hercules. Had they a detailed torso under that awful chest cap, it would’ve been so much better. I trimmed off the shoulders on mine and had someone paint them, but that’s not an option for everybody. God how I hated that chest cap sculpt. I hated it in preview images and I loathe it now. Luckily I think the only noticable use of it I can’t work around it is, yep, Herc.
  4. They could either do a second set shortly before/after with the Fantastic Four or mix them two teams together. A classic FF could include a classic blue/black costume Sue that’s been long overdo for an update. Perhaps a “white hot nova” Human Torch (glow in the dark!) and also yield some fun villains like Dragon Man, Diablo, Wizard, Trapster, Psycho Man, even the Red Ghost with some non-poseable Super-Apes!
  5. Meh. He’s not as big as Thing or Hulk. I don’t need a giant muscley Thor. Reminds me too much of Liefield!
  6. I feel like the TRU 12 First Apprarance Thor is perfect. For me, anyways.
  7. The stuff that comes to mind for me are what i consider nessecary updates for old figures that don’t fit with the more modern styles or are too dinky if they’re supposed to be bulky characters. They are: - Invisible Woman is the classic blue/black costume. It should match the “Best of” Mr. Fantastic colors and style - classic 1970’s Luke Cage, Power Man - classic Iron Fist (no bulky torso cover. He’d include two collars that extend down his torso, each showing his chest with and without the dragon tattoo) - Abomination - The Destroyer - classic Rhino (no jingle bell armbands on his wrists and shins, just flat costume) - Daredevil (yellow costume) - classic Stealth Iron Man (use updated armor mold) - And I wouldn’t even mind another classic Hercules because the torso capper they used on the original is my most hated piece ever created.
  8. I want more classic comic characters. People we haven’t gotten or updates of olllld figures. My dream wave is done-in-one and only has 2 re-treads for completeness sake. If THIS line-up don’t grab ya, then ya got no soul! Presenting the classic “Kirby” Inhumans! - Updated Black Bolt (regular head, screaming head and scream effect) & Medusa (includes new hairpiece, reused animated hairpiece and that “Medusa” hairpiece from the Calico jack - Karnak and Gorgon (no accessories needed) - Triton and Crystal (includes a couple elemental energy attachments) -Maximus the Mad (first appearance costume from FF #47 with removable crown) and an Alpha Primitive army builder who has a head or two for swapping. - And a slightly altered color Lockjaw for the BAF and to move all the sets. Luke could even do an exclusive two-pack! - Medusa in her FF costume and Crystal in her FF costume! Who says this isn’t the Marvel Age of wishlists?!
  9. I’ve lived between San Antonio and Austin for 5 years now. Since then I’ve had 5 TRU’s, 4 Hastings and at least 6 Walgreens (and that’s only within 20 miles of my home). Much more access than I used to for Minimates. Regarding comic shops, they seem to be carried by stores that are either 1) larger and can take the risk of peg-warming or 2) as a special order item that “die hard fans“ who have collected for awhile. Since moving to Texas I’ve seen 1 store in Austin carry them and that’s it. Places know what I’m talking about when I go in but don’t carry them because their store “is too small”. It’s because of this that I use Luke. My old shop in Arkansas became a hassle for many reasons, so so I went to DCBS online and have never looked back. Regarding Walgreens movie stuff... it’s interesting to me is that movie stuff hangs around awhile, even when it’s a big Avengers flick. That is IF it gets distributed. The second Walgreens “Infinity” set took awhile to trickle in. Otherwise, it stays and stays. The movie stuff at TRU/Hastings was just about the same way, minus variants. Comic stuff seemed to be that Secret Wars tie-in wave minus Dazzler/Howard the Duck staying around forever. As for Walgreens animated stuff, it’s just about the same. The stuff that doesn’t linger is the stuff with characters that haven’t been made before. Man-Thing, Kamala Khan Ms. Marvel, the Squadron Supreme. I hate to be the old “told you so” person, but I swear to gosh it truly seems like the new character stuff and updates on older figures gets eaten up and the rest just lingers.
  10. Movie stuff is the bane of my existence. I’m glad others like it... and I like the movies themselves... but all I ever see is Minimate movie stuff hanging around. And that’s not just Walgreens. Same with all the TRU’s and Hastings I used to frequent.
  11. Bringing this back from the dead. Can anybody post a picture of this new Moon Knight hood/cape on the old Moon Knight figure? Interested to see how it works.
  12. I don’t know if it’s regional or what, but that’s all I find at the ones I visit. It sucks!
  13. I’ve still got a full Walgreens series for sale. $47 shipped, because they’re $10 a piece at my store plus shipping. Looking to get them into hands that want them, not make a profit. You want, just PM me.
  14. This set has me excited for Minimates again. Absolutely beautiful.
  15. I’ll just leave this little beauty here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/movieweb.com/amp/ghostbusters-3-original-cast-responds/
  16. Mom atill searching for a Series 9 Executioner/Enchantress. That series never made it to my part of Texas... or if they did then nobody ever left any of the other sets. I really wish they’d offer these online. I want the new Adam Warlock and Hammerhead from series 10 but I worry they’ll be like Series 9. Non-existent in stores near me.
  17. I hope WHEN we get more there’ll be a Sue to match the “Best Of” Series 2 Reed. Oh yeah... and I got my letter printed in FF #650 (or new #5)!
  18. Was trying to figure out the hair piece... but then I found you on Instagram and you hooked me up!
  19. Both versions of Mega Man (Zero) from Marvel vs Capcom had energy swords: http://www.minimatedatabase.com/pack.php?i=867&n=Magneto++Zero
  20. The fewer licenses that interest me is what has me getting on here less. More classic comic Marvel stuff or monsters and I’m there. Kingdom Hearts and Vinimates aren’t my thing.
  21. Who made the quick custom of A Brotherhood Rogue with this figure? I remember seeing it someplace but can’t find it for the life of me now...
  22. I can’t see the image, but that rings a bell that it’s in the Animated line. Thanks!
