Picked up my package with these from Stuckakid at the post office today. They look pretty good. However, BTTF.com, you guys picked the right one with the Enchantment set. This one is cool enough, but Enchantment was cooler.

Woah, woah, woah. This wasn't JMS' work. In fact, JMS was so displeased with One More Day, that he wanted his name taken off of it, but Quesada convinced him to leave it on. He even said that a lot of the dialog, including most of OND issue 4, wasn't even in part his. In addition, JMS had nothing at all to do with Bright New Day. In fact, he had an elaborate plan to give Quesada what he wanted, but one that made sense and didn't involve the (so to speak) deus ex machina of Mephiso's Magic Miracle. And as for the twins being Peter's, isn't that a better story? People were pissed because Gwen banged Norman, and I can admit that was pretty dumb. But being Peter's makes way more sense and resonates far better.

Jack and Nina come with the cuffs and stretcher. Season 2 spoilers are below. And, for the record, it isn't an "end of day" pack. Nina was in her prison garb while being interrogated by CTU toward the beginning of the season. IIRC, the gurney bit was from when Jack was being tortured and "died" in the middle of the season.

I remember when this came out, my mom wouldn't let me see it because she was freaked out when she saw it. In the many years between then and now, I've just never picked it up. Even though it's a movie that I haven't seen, I think I'll be buying these. More likely than not, I'll be renting this before I get them. Interesting to see what DST is doing with the line.

That Jack and Nina set are exclusive to FYE/Suncoast. I have an extra set that I got on sale, so if anyone wants it, it'd just be $5, plus shipping.

Nuts! I forgot how good she looked in that movie. And grats for your interview in the Reporter and your work getting BTTF into the registry! That's really awesome how your community came together to do that. Also, for those visiting Austin in February, there's a special screening of BTTF. The best theater in the country, Alamo Drafthouse, is hosting a screening of Back to the Future with Master Pancake Theater. MPT is a group of three guys that make comments and do a couple skits about the featured movie, similar to Mystery Science Theater. I've been seeing them for years, and it should be a fun show.

I know we went over this in PM, but for any other Houston folks... I found both sets at the FYE in the Galleria. The one in Willowbrook Mall only had the 24 packs. Also, my Scarlet Spider and Hobgoblin pack has been gobbled up.

Mine also came on the 29th, but I didn't get to pick it up until the 31st. Very nice surprise to have these come in. The set is quite awesome; Marty's guitar is one of the best accessories. It's really awesome to have BTTF.com here to talk with us and that they were willing to front for these sets. Also, Stephen, love your business card. :-)

Good call on the classic Cylons. I think that's highly likely, since they'd just be a re-issue, make lots of sense, and cool. I'm a little surprised it won't be a box set, but that means we get more figures! I'd also consider skinjob Cylons to have mechanical arms. As far as the two humans, young Adama seems a good fit, and it'd be nuts to leave out the main character Lt. Shaw. I'm sure that we'll be getting a jumpsuit Gina, but I'm kinda hoping the variant is a beat up captive Gina. That'd be cool.

I'm with Kassle. Not only are these two characters important for the series, but they also feature important uniforms. Do you want a "back in the past Dax" quick custom? Then you'll need a Chapel. Plus, if these are released as part of a wave, this gives an opportunity for some classic aliens. I'm sure I'll be buying multiples of TNG, DS9, and the others to do some head swaps, so I'm looking forward to as many unique uniforms as I can get.

Speaking for myself, Stephen, if you get your stuff on Christmas Eve, I don't expect you and your staff to spend your holidays getting this out to us. I think Spidey 3 and the Previews Marvel sets will keep me entertained through the holidays, so make sure you and your team enjoys your holiday season and New Year's. :-)

"Know their onions." I like that phrase, and will try to start using it. At any rate, I would not bet on these coming to Previews. Sure, they might, but that's far from guaranteed. I'll probably snap up these (and the 24 pack) on eBay, since the FYEs around here aren't carrying them. If it eventually comes out through Previews, then that's great, but it's worth a few extra bucks to make sure that I have them.

On my little schedule I keep with my order information, I have Taskmaster and USAgent coming out next week (19th) with Zombie Iron Man and Black Panther coming out the following week (26th). Though even if those dates are right, with Xmas, Diamond usually ships late when there's a holiday.

Mine came in last week, but I haven't been able to go to the manager's office to pick it up before he closes. (And he's not open on weekends.) All I can say is F'N A! I got the second TPB of the new X-Factor, which is probably in my top three comic series that I read. I got a Beta Female Nurse Stikfas, which is perfect because she's one of my favorites, and the hip joints on mine broke when I moved recently. Also got a Shin Akuma from SF2 and Player 2 Demetri from Darkstalkers, which are two of the very few 'Mates that I don't have. I have no clue who sent to me, but I'm going to check the return address and see if I can sleuth it out. As for my person, I've been busy with finals, but just about all of your stuff is purchased and will be mailed this week. (My last final is tonight.) Though I gotta say, with Stuckakid's support above, I'm a little tempted to just keep what I bought and put in an order through them!

See, I see the Ultimate versions as being different characters. They have different costumes, different personalities, different stories. It's like saying, "I already have a Robin, I don't want Nightwing."

Nada on these here in Austin. We're down to only 2 FYEs in town, though. I figured they'd at least be up on eBay, but nothing there, either. Hopefully these won't be that hard to get eventually...

I'd absolutely love more Ultimate MiniMates. The Ultimates is one of the better superhero comics out there, and I think some 'Mates would be well-received. I don't know that Ultimatum is going to spell the end of the Ultimate U (not that it wouldn't be interesting to do so), but I think that there have been plans for a while to condense it down. Either way, my Ultimate X-Men are feeling lonely!

No guarantee they'd be army builders. In fact, I'm hoping that it's not more Cylons. I'm hoping for a New Caprica boxed set. Bearded Tyrol, long hair Starbuck, Anders, gouged Tigh, maybe even an Ellen or Secretary Gaeta. The last eSpectrum teased us about Star Trek 'Mates, too! Why must they be so cruel! (But I love it!)

Woah! Awesome! I'm delighted to be wrong! The Jack/Nina 2-pack is sweet. I guess I'll have to go to the mall tomorrow to see if they have this. Nice!

As much as I'd love it, I'm not counting on the Jack/Nina 2-pack to come out soon.
