I've seen full sets of wave 11 at three TRUs in the past week. No wave 13 yet.

I hit the Motor City Comic Con today. There wasn't much around as far as Minimates go but I did snag a Silver Centurion/Classic Iron Man pack for $10. The box was opened and a little torn but the tray was still sealed. TOYNK still had some great deals but nothing I needed and one guy had Wave 28 sans variant and wanted $70 for it.

You can actually separate the larger metal ring from the cuff without cutting. You can then feed the chain through the handle and reattach the chain to the cuff. That's what I did.

For what it's worth, the Battle Tactics 4-pack is now in stock at BBTS. After seeing the movie, I must say I like the Borders exclusive Iron Man even more but I wish he came with

The wave 6 reveal was in-package pics, too. I suppose it might be reasonable to make assumptions based on that.

Totally digging this wave! I won't be able to resist buying the wave 36 packs. Guess I won't mind having extras of those. Here's hoping for slight variations!

Nice! I was hoping for a uniformed Jim Rhodes! I was hoping for more characters rather than the drones but at least that's one pack I won't have to buy.

Same problem I had with the lab playset. I'm not going to spend $25 on a cardboard box.

There's a hidden Tuxedo Tony Stark underneath. That and it's believed to be more accurate to how it appeared in the first film. Also it's pretty cool looking too. IMO The overall color might be more accurate but it's missing a lot of the little details from the first one. I still can't decide which I like better.

Went to Borders today and grabbed a Pepper/Drone pack so my IM2 collection is complete (until the rumored TRU Wave 2 hits)! Does anybody know a quick and easy way to get the silver off of Tuxedo Tony's legs?

That's pretty much the same deal they had at the convention. Of course, their prices were a bit higher in person. Still worked out to about $3 per mate, though.

That sums up BD War Machine quite well. The new face is nice but it doesn't make up for the laziness. At least the rest of the set is pretty cool.

I thought it was funny that so many people were selling the corps rings at different prices. One booth had them at $1 each, one had them at $2, one booth had sets of 8 for $10, and another had sets of 8 for $30. :O

However they did it, I like being able to see the extra little detail in the mouth.

Wow, sold out before noon? Usually the runs of AFX's box sets are in the 2000 range... and they always have leftovers after the show. It would be quite a feat to blow through all of them in two days. I would guess he's talking about noon sunday and the 2-pack. I got all of my stuff just after noon saturday and I saw a few sitting out at 5 just before we left. It's also a pretty good bet that the exclusives were brought in fairly limited numbers considering they'll be available online (4-pack) and through Previews (2-pack). As for the Battle Beasts, I know a few were tossed out (literally) at the panel thanks to that YouTube video. The rest of them were handed out at noon saturday at the DST booth.

So, my buddy that went to C2E2 with me is a huge Battle Beast collector and was excited to get the exclusive. However, after playing around with mine for a bit, he decided he didn't want his and he gave it to me. Does anybody have an extra Toy Fair version they'd like to trade for it?

I asked the guys at the booth when it would be available online but they said they weren't sure exactly. Probably by the end of the month, they said. I got an extra C2E2 2-pack. In all of my post-con excitement, I accidentally cut the tape on the side before I realized I had already opened one of them. If anyone's interested, I'd like to trade it for either a Pepper/Drone pack or a Ground assault and Sea Assault Drone. Just to clarify, I'm looking for the one 2-pack or the two Drones. PM me if you're interested.

Just for fun, and in case anyone was wondering, the Minimate bits under all the Battle Beast stuff is: dark gray head, arms and legs; black torso and crotch. I'm too wired to sleep.
