I checked the TRU nearest me today and found that all eight wave 4 packs that I had left after buying my set almost a week ago are still there. Is this a sign of the one-wave-too-many syndrome?

Yes. In fact, there was an entire thread devoted to it when they were originally released.

I got a whole bunch of new stuff a couple days ago. I grabbed a Sea Spray, some Power Core Combiners and the WFC Prime and Bumblebee. Seems that all The TRUs in my area are getting Generations cases with just Prime and Bee in them. Slightly disappointing.

Are those stands of some sort? It's a basic LEGO shape that looks like a tiny satalite dish and can be used as a stand. I don't personally like them as stands since they only have the one peg and make everybody look a bit lopsided.

I found wave 13 at K-Mart today!. I'm so glad K-Mart is still $12.99 on these guys. They must have just been put out since they had a very hard time getting the register to ring them up. Blue Beetle is very impressive but I am getting sick of the in-package posing screwing up my toys.

Bah ha ha - quite possibly. Although i think that the artists intension was to make Ray look the way he does when he's being possessed/hypnotised by the painting of Vigo. Somewhere around this scene (sorry i couldn't find a photo of the actual expression i was looking for) I figured it was the scene toward the end just before Ray gets physically possessed by Vigo. Y'know, since it's the same outfit and everything. This: not: Hooray for the SDCC set! Glad to see we're getting a non-possessed Dana along with the commercial outfits.

Weren't these supposed to be revealed in Previews? Previews came out today and I didn't see them in there after checking every page. I don't see the original post on the AA blog anymore so I couldn't check there.

Apparently it has something to do with the actual Monaco racetrack pitcrew jumpsuit. They were not allowed to reproduce that color orange in the merchandise for some reason. ??? The little figures that came with the Slurpee straws at 7-11 were orange.

The Modern Starman looks fantastic! Batman would certainly be better if he matched his comic appearance but I'll put him with my other Sinestro Corps members and be happy.

Wow! What a nice mix of must-haves and kinda-cools. Definitely love the Janosz, Statue of Liberty and Slime Blower Ray! I'll never complain about more ghosts for this line and the Venkman is different enough that I don't mind buying it. Also looks like it'll be easy to make a Slime Blower Winston. Looks like I'll be buying at least two of the Mayor and Ray packs. I suppose that means they'll be the two-per-case packs unless they decide to do them even (yeah, right). Only a month away according to the ship date. I hope they hit stores around the same time.
