Oooh, I will 2nd this, I am a huge fan of the classic Avengers, heck, the classic avengers box set was my first ever minimates and it was what got me into this line!

Now that the box set for 82 has been revealed, is it a good time now to finally start a thread for 83?! Have not been teased for any new mates now, so I am pretty excited. Since box sets are the way moving forward, can we be positive that we will see more complete teams? Seeing how young avengers are being more prominent and are building up in MCU, do you think 83 could be Young Avengers? ?

As far as I know, they are still next in line, I know the new parts have been sculpted, I do not know if they have been tooled. I'll try to keep everyone posted.

Gamora's from the Bendis run, so she goes with Nova, Captain Marvel, Agent Venom and Godkiller Iron Man, but we don't have any of the other four movie Guardians from that era.

Star-Lord (and the rest of the wave) are from Donny Cates' run, which is missing Groot, Beta Ray Bill, and Phyla-Vell.

I think this was the comic that inspired the wave, replacing Phyla-Vell with Gamora in my opinion, maybe a marketing strat as they are afraid people will not buy the pack if no one recognises any of the 2 packed together.... which is sad for fans like us
 

I miss times when the wave is not complete, we have TRU wave to fall back to complete the set...

Zombies are cool!! Especially if we could get a fantastic four box set. However, I’m still waiting for the venomized Iron Man and Daredevil funko pop made into minimate form!!!

I think Zach said something along the lines of the validity license to make end game minimates are over, so they do not have the rights to make end game minimates anymore even if they wanted to :(

Still pretty much prefer the official comics than comic-compatible! Box sets are good to get not-so popular characters out there, kinda like the BAF characters we get now, those that needs to be made vs popularity

Well, ea just announced a new gw game dubbed neighbourville! Which includes 3 new plants and 3 new zombies, would only hope this line continues!
