Hoping we'll see Roxas or Axel as store exclusives in series 2, but I'm not sure how likely that is.

Yeah it looks great, love the character choices for this line. KingdomHearts characters translate well into minimate form.

Series 3 of The Vinimates Will have Sora, Donald, and Goofy in their Nightmare Before X-Mas Outfits ( so we're presumably getting minimates of those later on). Some figures in Series 2 include Pete, Hooded Mickey, Master Form Sora ( Yellow), Tron Goofy and the Soldier Heartless. See them here.

The new 2018 show designs are odd looking and not as appealing as the 2012 series, which is now one of my all time favorites. Season 4 & 5 had so many great designs I wanted. 

Yeah, a lot of minimates could've looked great. Leather Head, Tiger Claw, Super Shredder, black outfit turtles, Triceraton Soldiers, Xever, and Rahzar. so many potentially great minimates missed. But I understand why DST didn't continue the line, interest in TMNT has ben dying down with the show ending.

Mickey isn't perfect, he's missing his tail, but looks pretty accurate otherwise.

The Dusk and Heartless look really good, wish there was a way to buy them with out getting the other figures that aren't as well done

As someone deep in the Kingdom Hearts fandom, this is so true. Every time I see a post about the Select figures online, it's unconditional bashing the whole time. It seems to KH fans, anything that isn't a $100+ Play Arts Kai Figure is the worst thing ever. Yet they seem to love the Pops coming out 

I understand why people dislike selects though, something about the human faces seems off and looks inaccurate. I just can’t get down with Sora’s expression and the hair just looks so clay like. On the other hand, the Minimates and Vinimates look great to me so I’ll take what I want and leave what I don’t. I’m definitely glad DST has the liscence, because these look like they’ll be my favorite Minimates and Vinimates.

Same here, I'm not much of a Vinimate guy but I'll be picking these up for sure. Hopefully all of these Vinimates make it to Minimate form.

Any idea when the Kingdom Hearts Vinimates will be released?

I was really hoping that if these were a success that we would get more Mirage turtle sets , seeing as you could reuse some of the Sculpts like Casey, Shredder, the Foot Soilders body, ect.

I was just wondering if Donald and Goofy came with their staff and shield?

They aren't online paint variants, Birth by Sleep Donald has a new headsculpt and I think body scuplt, there's also the Shadow Heartless which is in the blindbags.

Any idea if we're getting a Birth by Sleep Goofy, a Timeless Goofy, or a Tron Goofy? Those sets feel incomplete with out Goofy and Sora, but especially Goofy.

The other complaint that people on the KH reddit had is that the Axel figure's face is really bad.

I agree, something about Axel and Sora's face just looks so life less and inaccurate, was kinda surprised because selects usually look really good. At least the minimates look phenomenal.

Zach will you guys be reversing the colors on Mickey's keyblade? It's kinda a thing. 

That's the onr grope I have with tjeese figures so far, hopefully we can get Mickey with an accurate keyblade.  That and some more Goofy variants like Donald has kinda suprised that Donald has 3 and Goofy has none. But still this is the most I've ever been excited for minimates, absolutley love these.

I know, Kingdom Hearts was one of my favorite games as a kid so I'm beyond excited for these mates. Thy make me want to grab my old ps2 and play these games again.

They look a lot better in this picture, but Sora head sculpt still seems off. Maybe it'll look better in person.

Any idea if the head sculpts are subject to change for the selects ? I'd love to get them but Axel and Sora's head sculpts seem off.
