In PL's defense the "Ask DST" sessions are always very difficult for me to get to. I mainly wish there was just an option for us to buy from the DST website directly to bypass all the damned scalping.

Would have preferred Fatal attractions wolverine and magneto but other than that this wave is a grand slam dunk

So I know this was kind of mentioned in the Monsters thread but how many other people would like for a deluxe or all-in-one kind of treatment for certain characters? I know this would probably never be done because of the need for re-dos when it comes to A-Listers but it would still be nice right? Something like a Deluxe Comic Spider-Man set where it would have - Parts for a Peter with normal clothes (or possibly nerdy early Pete) or just Pete with different expressions -Maybe a McFarlane spidey with an alternate head with the mask half up like the animated Spidey -Different types of webs!!! An extra long web line with a web blanket of sorts in the middle that could double as a web parachute or net and a regular web line? Or maybe even a Flash Thompson mate -Purple letterman jacket Flash -Agent Venom parts and maybe a wheelchair? -Space Knight venom parts and mechanical legs even if they retailed at twenty dollars I'd still see it as a win for not having to track down Venom TTA Agent Venom...

If most of us could afford to buy out old waves to try to trigger a potential restock of figures that may or may not be gone by the time we arrive I don't think the eBay prices would be a deterrent and we'd most likely just go there. I get what you're saying though and it definitely works if you like having multiples for customs and stuff. Multiple coulson troopers would be a blast, however I just don't have the money nor can justify having 4 starlords, groots, miles, venoms, etc. in order to get 3 two packs from the newest wave.

I completely get that TBT. We have a great and helpful community and I'm very thankful for people always being so willing to help but I mean this distribution thing is a little nuts when 5 out of 5 Walgreens still have starlord around here. The argument of "better than them never being made" could be kind of a moot point if an individual can't get them anyway.... I'm not saying that I'm not grateful that this product has been made and I'm happy for those who can get them its just kind of a ridiculous saying in my opinion, at least when it comes to purchasing commodities. If the consumer can't buy your product or has to go out of their way to seek it out it kinda can make them start wishing it hadn't been made. At least if that happens you don't have to waste time worrying about it. I don't personally wish they weren't made or anything but I mean I can see where collectors would eventually reach that point. With distribution and scalping putting figures in people's/store's hands that just want to unload them but collectors not being able/willing to purchase them because of the increase in price that comes with seeking it out.

I still love that wave as well Mnemosis! I prefer Gorgon over Cyber but maybe with cyber we could see some beefed up arm pieces besides those of the hulk (wishful thinking I know). Besides that I think the wave is flawless! I love "story packs" as I like to call them like the fatal attractions and the thought of having the added adamantium tendrils and such would really make that a contender for mate of the year!

I really love this set and that hood piece may be one of my favorite mate parts. I might buy two because that suit torso looks like the best suit torso yet

Surely they could organize them and ship them with their eyes and not by relying on the number. "Oh this guy ordered the Thor set, let me send out the one that says Thor"

I know the numbering system or sku or whatever is the same but honestly it would be awesome if they could just put these online for goodness sakes.

I don't have any wolverines yet but from what I've seen the updates are worth getting new wolverines. DST is doing a great job upping the quality of their new figs

Have to agree with Stack. I'd rather pay premium prices from Binoboi than buy small versions of stuff like sentinels. Give me a big Fin Fang Foom. edit: it sucks cause I know licensing is holding them up on this but they could produce Maximates for a lot cheaper most likely. I don't even understand the holdup with licensing either. DST produces Select which is x10000000000000000000 times closer to legends than a 6" Minimate would ever be. Like they produce what 7" Selects? Why not 8" mates? I wonder if pops have anything to do with it.

Hell I still don't have taskmaster... Why is Walgreens so against putting these online?
