Jack was a comic version. He was from a TRU wave.

Oh yeah he came with Negative Zone Spidey. He just looked so...not comic like I looked at my shelf and assumed he was animated.

Should this indicate that it isn't the Clone Saga? Because we certainly have seen several of the key players of that storyline. . .

Could it be "The Gathering" ? or "Planet of the Symbiotes" ?

I'd guess Identity Crisis as Jack O'Lantern is in that storyline and has only been done animated.

  3. Not going to lie, having a guy that's only been on AEW tv five times to sell Sting's retirement match, an energy drink and generic erection pills take a spot is a little disappointing. I know it's Flair and he's a legend just personally not a fan.  Danielson and Sting are the two of the set I definitely need.  Just hoping for someone like Swerve, Kingston, or Toni Storm.  Still a great set.

  4. I know I'm definitely in the minority here.  The tampos don't bother me because minimates still have way more detail than other block minifigures.  I don't mind the micro figure for animals or smaller characters. I always saw Spider-Ham being toddler size so a kid size mate, to me, would seem too big. If Porker, in various poses, made his way into every Marvel boxset I'd be happy every time.  I guess I'm just easy to please.

  5. Neca seems to just be redoing the original LJN line-up.   Grimsword(the guy wrapped in the snake) never appeared in the cartoon. Kelek(the sorcerer in red and black) Zarak( the little green guy), Strongheart (the Paladin with the stache) were in the cartoon. The Dwarf Elkhorn is suppose to be in it but I don't remember him ever actually showing up. I know some of them were put in the game or in books later on.  The only figures I had were Warduke, Grimsword and Strongheart.  I love the characters because I still play the game, but I was in fourth grade when the LJN toys came out.  I don't think they did as well because they were competing with GI Joe, MOTU, and Blackstar.

The characters in the set are not all generic civilians, but there is one civilian (with a cool new piece), one soldier, one cyborg and one robot. I think people will enjoy the designs and new parts even if they have no plans to see the movie. They won't be out until spring, most likely, so I'm sure you will be able to get them from Luke or elsewhere once you see the both films.

I'm guessing the civilian is Sofia Boutella's character Kora, soldier would be Ed Skrein's Admiral Atticus Noble (unless it's Djimon Hounsou as General Titus, the cyborg will be Doona Bae's Nemesis, and robot Jimmy voice by Hopkins.

I believe, due to their success, we want to do more D&D MM. Both sets sold out. I do not know what the characters would be, though. I doubt we would do more animated, as we hit all the big characters. And the game is a tough one. But fingers crossed.

The movie had a few interesting characters.  Personally, I'd like to see characters from the game or at least a few creatures like Beholders, Mindflayers, heck I'd even be willing to buy a gelatinous cube.  To be honest I wouldn't even mind if they were generic characters depicting various races/species and classes found in the game.

  8. I see a lot of possibilities so hopefully the movies do well. I'm not really a fan of Snyder but I think it looks interesting and will watch it.  I generally buy anything Minimates, even stuff I don't care for like Transformers, so I'm good for at least two sets.  If I get Jena Malone's spider character or a Vinimate of the black Hieracosphinx out of it, I'll be happy.
