If you skip the side quests you can actually get through the game pretty fast. Under 20 hours. The one thing about ME though, is that any decisions you make in the first game carries over into the later games. This includes side quests.

Neo, ME2 is CONSIDERABLY improved over #1. Especially the combat. Going back to the first one is difficult for me to even consider. That said I do encourage you to continue playing because of the fact that you can carry all your decisions over to the new one and the story is still very involving and characters like Saren are so damn cool. Having not played the first one in so long it's hard to remember a lot of things they reference in #2.

Don, while there IS multiplayer in ODST, the game uses the framework H3 does for the campaign mode, mean there is no matchmaking. MAtchmaking will pick people for you to play with. You can only play ODST with people either you know or someone who's a friend of a friend of yours. That's where my joke came in when I said your friends must be douche bags. This, however , is a perfect example of how jokes aren't funny when you explain them. I've aalso been play ME2. I love the concept that your save file carries accross all three games and that I'm litterally writing my version of the universe. My friends and I are constantly comparing with one another what our universes are like. It's really cool.

I've also heard incredible things about flower! I wish you could try demos on PSN. It's retarded. Back on topic, We have "Ratchet & Clank: Search for Booty" & "Fat Princess." R&C is short, so I won't suggest it unless you're hardcore into R&C (Crack in time is AWESOME!!!) but Fat Princess was one of the reasons I bought a PS3. It's hilarious!! My only problem with it is that it came out long before I bought a PS3 so everyone else is considerably better than me. That said, if you've got money kicking around it's a good buy.

TBT actually nailed it on the head. Most people praising the Wii don't know the actual numbers. While Wii has outsold both other consoles combined in Hardware, 360 makes TRIPLE the amount they do on games every year. I was surprised to find out Microsoft actually makes the most money of all the consoles. The reason? Every one buys a wii... And no games. Don't get me wrong, Nintendo still has money fights in their business meetings. Wiis sold more in december than any other month, beating their own record for consoles sold in 30 days. That number? 4 million. It makes my head hurt. In the long run, all it means to me is that they BETTER have another game like the mario coming or, in a month mine'll go bnack in the closet. Don, if you're looking for someone else for ODST, LMK. I'm always up for a little Halo action. Did you already blow up the bridge? Actually it doesn't matter, long story short, there are lots of great levels ahead... But more "wandering around in the dark" too. The real fun is in Firefight if you haven't tried it.

Miry, I know WHY they chose the 3, I'm just saying that they might not be the most obvious picks out there. Mera & Lex are among my fav. characters, so I think it's great... Just not the ONLY picks they could have used. As for Brightest day... It makes everything seem too happy, right? Unless white is evil...

So Blackest Night #6 came out some time ago. In it the 7 color characters decide they can't win against Nekron without a LOT more lanterns. Indigo-1 sends her tribe to gather together the different corps. In the meantime, though Ganthet hands out one of each ring to someone on Earth. That's right, you guessed it, Scarecrow joins the yellow corps. Most of them are obvious like Atom/Compassion, Barry/Hope But some are interesting like Mera/Rage, Lex Luthor/Avarice & Wonder Woman/Love

I think Miry nailed it on the head with the fact that until the bronze age of comics heroes didn't HAVE different personalities. I remember Geoff Johns talking about Flash rebirth and how he would be able to literally write Barry from scratch since he didn't have any history other than him getting hit by lightning and running, since he missed everything since the silver age of comics. Case in point: Modern day Hal Jordan is brash and cocky... And stubborn as hell. I see what you are saying Two-Face about the changing for situations, but it might not be to the extreme you're percieving it. Just recently in BN (#3 I think) Barry gives a pep talk to Ray & Mera and says they have to be more like Hal. Why? Cause Hal laughs in the face of danger! HA! HA! HA! Seriously though, the 2 examples you gave that DIDN'T have Hal spitting in the face of authority were his 2 best friends (Ollie & Barry). I think Hal might be more of what the every man ASPIRES to be. He doesn't take any bullsh@t. He's great with the ladies... And he's fearless. Hell yeah. As for "Miss Ferries" I have that episode PVRed too. I seem to remember not being in love with the episode. Only a rewatch will decide though. Two Face, if you're really liking Hal I suggest Ron Marz's run on GL. I might be remembering it with Rose colored glasses but that's where Kyle was REALLY likable. Sure, he didn't "reinvent" GL like Geoff did but he had rules to follow. It's been a long time since anyone has written Kyle well and it'd be nice to read them again.

Two Face... I'm speechless. Hal is about the LEAST "everyman" of the League. He's the hot-shot-out-of-control-acts-without-thinking-ladies-man of the team. How long have you been reading GL? I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be condescending or anything like that, it's just Hal, unlike every other Superhero (Booster excluded) really likes himself. He knows his role and never thinks twice about it. He's a hero. As for Blake... What's everyone's problem? Obviously at first glance she looks like more of a "Cowgirl" than a Carol, but that's because she has long blonde hair. Blake wore a wig on SNL a couple weeks ago: Honestly, I don't have high expectations, but that could be a good thing. Count me among those who think Ryan can pull this off.

Zune is pretty much online movie rentals. They're instant and run up to 1080p, so is actually all in all a pretty good system. As a matter of fact more people rented movies online on their 360s last year than ALL OTHER ONLINE VIDEO RENTAL COMPANIES COMBINED. Pretty big talk. As for other apps... Do you mean like Facebook or twitter? They're free. So is Halo Waypoint. I'm not sure what other apps you're referring to. As for the gold priviledges... Silver members can't even play online. There are several other differences, but essentially silver blows.

Well the new GLC hit stands yesterday and it's clear that they were trying to make this an emotional issue. Did they succeed? I'd say partially. Guy going red was pretty bada$$. With his red and green combo he cuts through the blacks like butter. Things then get bumped up a notch when Kryb tries to stop him from killing her babies. He literally rips off her arm and shoves it down her throat. As much as I wanted to see Kyle NOT dead, his return is so happy-go-lucky that it seems more like an episode of Family Matters or the Brady Bunch than a war against death. This is, of course, is all forgivable by the fact that Mogo has now joined the fight. Hells yeah.
