  3. So have decided already to adjust some of my New Reichsmen from Earth 10 customs. I remade Green Lantern, as I made him using my interpretation since the images to find are limited. I remade the Martian Manhunter to look more like some of images I found, but his head and torso are still up to my interpretation of the character. And I also revised my New Reichsman Red Tornado. I finally found the parts of a Regular Red Tornado that used the rest the original for a Red Vision custom in my Spider-Bat line. So I hope these are better as I am going to keep them in my collection and retire the original three I made. I also tweaked Underwaterman and added a piece to him to make him look more the part.
  4. I'm pretty grounded but I squealed out loud when I saw Invincible minimates in the background of that 'Walking Dead' episode
  5. It's crazy how the Invincible 4-pack has shot up in value. That and the releases for the Sergio Leone films are pretty glaring omissions in my collection.
  6. As always, I have to stress that I don't fit into many if any Minimate demographic ....I also respect your opinion & I agree that Sonic & KH ended very abruptly . I'm not big into Sonic but I was also surprised that we never got at least another box-set, not my 'stuff' but they worked as Minimates, I liked them. Kingdom Hearts Minimates ? I have to be honest ,I just don't think they worked on any level . Sorry! Regards the 'fizzling' I can categorically state that many of the 'fizzled licence' Minimates have become outrageously expensive on the secondary market , Invincibles, Mass Effect & Plants & Zombies (maybe?) immediately come to mind. Unfortunately 'Kingdom Hearts' aren't in that group I haven't mentioned GI Joe , I really hope that the license can get into a bit of a stride . I'll leave it at that.
  7. My opinion would be that we are unlikely see further MCU Minimates It's all history now but the final WG wave which was dumped outside of the US more or less said everything.
  8. Well, we could eventually get a third Imperial Guard member in Smasher through the Avengers if DST was generous they might even give us the Male chest block in addition to the female one but I see your point. A play pattern I had since the 90s was just to lump the StarJammers with the Imperial Guard since we only had Guardian and Warstar.
  9. well, in July i said we have a year and here we are. just saw the trailer dropped and there is a july release date............ any chance this is our return to the MCU Minimates?
  10. No wonder I couldn't figure that 'head' ....it's an alternative head I must have trawled my mind & the MMDB several times ....it's perfect .
  11. Thank you everyone who has commented so far. I appreciate the feedback. I hope to keep making DC and more Star Trek customs as I have the time.
  12. Minimike: thank you for the interest in my customs. The head of Martian Manhunter is that of Heroic Hobgoblin. I appreciate it and the question about the parts is welcome. I hope you are able to expand your DC collection like I am doing. Happy Customizing!
  13. No, I mean, I liked the new Elektra as well, just... IDK. I'm not sure how much room it could've taken up in the box set, but some alt. parts for a more neutral mask and sash would have been welcome if you just wanna pose her normally.
  14. Gotta say, I loved the new Elektra. Some elements require dynamic movements because they look flat otherwise (cough cough, Angel's wings should be extended, cough cough). Besides, the windswept hair on Kaine borders on ridiculous in the most awesome 90's way possible and I have at least one pop diva QC in mind for that 'do. I can't wait to get these!

  16. Except that Wolverine didn't wear the Fang costume in these comics . . . HOWEVER, Uncanny #162 (which is the issue where the infected Wolverine comes from) does feature Fang's death at the hands of the Brood aliens. So, if it were to go down that way then the box would need to advertise Fang proper and come packaged with an additional, swappable Wolverine head. Personally, I'd just prefer the infected Wolverine because a.) it's a Cockrum design, so automatically striking and interesting enough to warrant the additional Wolverine variant b.) it'll have funky pearlescent pants which are always neat c.) I'd hate to only have two Imperial Guard members and its Gladiator and . . . Fang . . . Unless we're getting Starbolt, Hussar, Manta, Earthquake, Oracle, Warstar etc. I'd rather just have Gladiator.
  17. Thanks. If people want to Army build they can have a Guard Fang, a Kitty, depowered Binary, and a cape Deathbird. The three Starjammers though… well who doesn’t need multiple Green things.
  18. Slight suggestion: Sprite Deathbird Fang Wolverine with Daken Claws and alternate heads. Binary Ch'od & Cr'reee and the Bug.
  19. That’s so weird to me. I had like 6 Heathers at one point.
  20. in the last few years i’ve gotten back to collecting, i would say both of the mentioned angels and box end up being the craziest prices for the two packs and loose @buttheadsmate@NerdyTrev
  21. This is disappointing. It feels like every time there’s a Minimates line based on an IP I like it just fizzles out instantly (Still bitter about Sonic and KH). I skipped the Cobra set because it just didn’t feel like it was worth it. Anyone got custom recipes? I want a Flint and Beachhead the most but getting to boost the ranks of either side would be nice.
  22. Ah, damn. MB. I didn't know there were two different designs. Still, I think I'd rather see a new Brood-infected character and not just a copypasta of Wolverine. That way, armybuilding can be a thing for the Brood.
  23. Last blow-out was 2014 ....ages ago ! The Bat Cave BTW never really got the praise it deserved , it is a tad 'nervous' but I used to love mine......when I had room I hadn't realised that Box/Vindicator set was so rare! .
  24. On God. IK the Heroes to the Rescue Spider-Man is considered peak Spider-Man (I can agree that it is a peak Spider-Man in its own right)... I'm still more biased towards the Wave 24 Spider-Man being the greatest comic book Spider-Man Minimate ever released. Vibrant red, dark blue, and some of the best printing I've ever seen on a Spider-Man. But, that's a conversation for a different thread. The Wave 86 Green Goblin, despite some gripes with it, looks absolutely amazing and I can't wait to get my hands on it. (Still waiting on my coveted Thunderbolts and Marvel Knights Goblins in the meantime XD)
